Andover police charge man in hit and run crash

The Andover Police Department ticketed Dennis J. Tinker, 58 of Canisteo for unsafe backing and leaving the scene of a property damage accident after an investigation into a hit and run accident that happened at Maier's Market parking lot on Main Street in Andover on February 16, 2017.  Dennis allegedly backed into a parked car stopped and then fled the scene.  Dennis was issued tickets returnable to Andover Village Court on March 13 at 9:00 a.m.The Andover Police Department was assisted by the Canisteo Police Dept in the investigation.
