March 16, 2017 brown militants attacked an anarchist bookstore lo-Revenge. A group of
masked neo-fascists broke away from his fellow All-Polish Youth, who that day had a press
conference in front of the WNS UAM. Fans Soldiers accursed, not disturbed by anyone,
walked half the city and attacked dozens of people in a place full of people, including
mothers with children, foreigners, activists tenant. They tried to break into the
premises, set fire to it, batter and beat people. With the phone from our friend, we
managed to secure the place in time, and with the help of neighbors and stanowczemu
resistance repelled the attack brown. ---- Striking is the fact that the police stood
before the premises for half a day, then disappeared 20 minutes before the attack, when
nationalists began to gather. I was surprised that our neighbors, who first came to help
us. The police showed up again fifteen minutes after the attack. We have no illusions that
the police protected the fascists. Therefore, we aim to strengthen relations with its
neighbors and create bonds of human solidarity.

We call for the active defense against nationalist terror! Our strength is bottom-up, a
common resistance. Visit to us support, reagujmy the threat.

Thank you - friends, neighbors, supporters for their support. Solidarity our guns!

The devastating effects of war crusades and the capitalist periphery intensive looting is
the disintegration of all social life meaning and existence in the Middle East where the
war has swept local populations. It is these effects result in millions of uprooted and
desperate people to try in every way to escape and entry into Europe. ---- The Fortress
Europe policies are literally etched on the bodies of refugees and migrants, who are the
first victims of the continuing enlargement of the control, suppression and incarceration
of emergency status alongside the intensity of the attack in the lower layers. ---- Today
where the far-right and fascist aspect of modern totalitarianism, the most extreme
manifestation of the exploitative state and capital cluster expands within the "Fortress
Europe", the isolation of the fascists and clash with them in every part of the social
field more important

The trade unions (CGT, Solidaires, FSU, Unef) and feminist associations (CNDF, Women
Equality, Dare Feminism, Family Planning ...) call on women to strike on 8 March 2017, On
the occasion of the International Women's Rights Day. Back on the initiative. ---- The
women's strike on March 8, 2017 is expected to initiate a new unitary dynamics for the
feminist movement in France. Calling for a women's strike on March 8th is first and
foremost placing the wage inequalities faced by women on the agenda. Even today, women
earn 25% less than men in the private sector, and about 15% less than men in the public
service. ---- Exploited at home, exploited at work: we stop? ---- Every day, from 3:40 pm,
women work for free. The latest liberal reforms have had a devastating impact on women's
employment and working conditions: they are particularly present in the field of trade,
and have suffered the full impact of Sunday work with the Macron law.

Similarly, the Labor Act imposes a setback for women since the company agreements are now
above the law to define working time. This question remains crucial for women who still
have to juggle between domestic work time and paid work and who occupy 82.5% of part-time
jobs.

A first initiative was launched in 2012 in Toulouse.
Calling for a women's strike on March 8 is a reminder of women's power and ability to
block vital sectors: trade, health, administration ... Less present in traditionally
"masculine" sectors, They nevertheless represent 23.1% of energy workers and 26.3% of
transport workers.

International wrestling

It remains for women to become aware of their capacity for action and their interests as a
woman. On the one hand, they have in common that they continue to suffer domestic
exploitation and wage exploitation, and on the other hand, if there is indeed a sector
whose women are almost absent, it is that of the greatest fortunes!

Read "Feminists as long as necessary, everywhere, all the time, from a revolutionary and
emancipatory perspective" , text of the Congress of AL of 2015
On March 8, 2017, women's rights were raised in the context of international struggles for
women's rights. In recent months, women, in Italy, Spain, Poland and Argentina, have
massively demonstrated against violence against women and feminicide. Similarly, there
were millions to protest against the election of ultra-conservative Donald Trump and his
anti-abortion policy.

While the extreme right is gaining ground and ultra-liberal reforms are accelerating, it
is urgent for women to build a massive movement to defend their right to dispose of their
bodies, for equal pay, against violence Patriarchal.

Dear friends: ---- It is on July  15 and 16  in Priamukhino, in the hometown of Mikhail
Bakunin, in the Tver region of Russia, that the annual "Priamukhino Lectures" will be
held. We invite you to take part in the event, as a speaker or as an interested listener.
The theme of this year's Readings will be: ---- The Great Russian Revolution of 1917-1921:
the libertarian gaze ---- Initiated a hundred years ago in Petrograd, the Russian
Revolution became unquestionably one of the key events of the twentieth century, which not
only determined the history of Russia but also influenced the course of world history. All
the researchers agree, but it is then that the debates, the endless disagreements, and the
contradictory analyzes of the causes, consequences, and lessons of the Revolution begin.
We can not, therefore, forget this occasion.

However, taking into account the specificity of the interests and points of view of the
participants in the Priamukhino Lectures, we would like to draw the attention of the
speakers to their elaboration of a "libertarian look" on the understanding of this
decisive event.

Here are some questions that we have submitted to the discussion of these Readings:

>  The Great Russian Revolution was inevitable and what was its influence in the
twentieth century?

>  Why did the potential "self-managing revolution" (as certain historians call it)
linked to the attempt of liberation and self-management in various spheres of individual
and collective life become the triumph of a despotic system?

>  What were the alternative scenarios for unfolding the social revolution? Why were they
not performed?

>  What were the relations between libertarian and authoritarian tendencies in
revolutionary events? What factors were decisive in the revolution? What role was played
by the various parties, groups, individuals?

>  What were the relations between the anarchist movement, the other anti-authoritarian
movements and the popular movement for free Soviets, the decentralization of power and the
socialization of land and production?

>  The "Third Revolution" that the anarchists defended had a chance to take place, and
what role did the popular uprising movements play in the events of the revolution?

>  What were the main lessons of the Great Russian Revolution for the anarchist movement?
How can we seize this source of inspiration, tragic and lesson-making experience?

We invite potential conference participants to also present their topic relationships and
discuss the main theme of the Lectures. We are also ready, as far as possible, to listen
and discuss interventions on other subjects in the tradition of the Priamukhino Readings
such as the revolutionary struggle and the intellectual inheritance of Mikhail Bakunin,
the theory and history of anarchism, the Bakunin family and history Of Priamukhino.

To participate in the conference, please send an e-mail to coord.readings@yandex.ru.

We request the submission of your intervention topics before May 1, 2017.

We will communicate the most detailed information about participation in the Readings later.

Priamukhino Readings Organizing Committee

The "Priamukhino Readings" is a colloquium that takes place every year since 2011 at the
birthplace of Bakunin in Priamukhino. The themes of the conferences are related to the
history of anarchism and the problems of its contemporary application, as much as the
vision and actions of the members of the Bakunin family and the history of Priamukhino.

Unexpectedly and for the first time in many years, far-right groups were able to march in
Montreal. We didn't think fascist groups could mobilize as they did, after the crushing
defeats of the Pegida demos in 2015 where 4 or 5 lost aunts and uncles were countered by
500 protesters. ---- The day started around 11am with a gathering of far-right groups at
Place Émilie-Gamelin. Defending freedom of expression was their pretext for spewing their
hatred of Muslims. The rally consisted of about 150 people, with numerous flags of "La
Meute"["The Pack", as in "wolfpack"]as well as some Quebec flags. A small group of Maoists
tried to block them from the start, but the cops quickly stepped in to push them away and
clear the street for the fascists. ---- The fascist demo arrived at City Hall around
11:30am and a counter-demo of around 400 people awaited them. Punches started flying from
both sides, as the police had not yet separated the two demos. The far-right group members
who wandered a bit too far certainly received a beating and were tossed to the ground. The
cops then separated the two demonstrations and at that point things crystallized. The far
left on one side and the far right on the other. Insults flew from both sides but without
confrontation.

Nevertheless, about thirty anti-fascists spontaneously decided to skirt around the police
formation. Despite efforts to gather more people to join the group that was splitting off
from the demo, the majority of the anti-racist demo stayed put. It's hard to say if the
obstacle was the inertia of a large crowd waiting 45 minutes in the cold, the
unwillingness of organizers to communicate the initiative, or the lack of a banner to
encourage a broader movement. Regardless, only a small portion of the crowd joined the
effort to block the fascists from marching. This small, mobile group soon found itself
face-to-face with the members of La Meute performing security for the far-right demo.
Punches flew, then glass bottles, large blocks of ice, and a garbage can rained briefly
down on the fascists. The handful of anti-fascists then took the street to try to block
the fascist's march. But bike cops quickly arrived to disperse the antifas that had found
themselves on the wrong side of the police line. The far-right then had free reign to
continue marching while the anti-racist demo followed from behind and was pushed back by
police deployments. The far-right demo dispersed at Place Émilie-Gamelin.

The day was a defeat against the far-right which succeeded in marching in Montreal. Most
people arrived with the notion that things would be fairly calm, with at most twenty or so
racists and nationalists at the far-right demo. We were unprepared. Fascists have become a
real threat even in Montreal, though we thought the city immune to far-right
demonstrations. Next time we'll have to take the importance of antifascism much more
seriously and ensure that racists can't show up on the streets, that they'll stay hidden
behind their pathetic Facebook pages. Reflecting on Saturday, one of the few sources of
consolation is that most of the crowd seemed to support physical assaults on racists and
the notion of stopping them from taking the street. A culture of struggle is ingrained
enough in Montreal that violence toward the far-right is accepted and we need to continue
acting on this when we meet them in the street.

Some tactical reflections for future antifa demos

When we have a crowd of 400 people, rather than trying to break riot police lines, 50 to
100 people should have positioned themselves on neighboring streets to prevent anyone from
joining the far-right demo.
We need different kinds of projectiles to throw at the fascists, whether eggs, paint
bombs, rocks or fireworks. A lot of things can be useful when trying to force them to leave.

Anarchists in Montreal can no longer take the question of antifascism lightly, because the
threat is real. Let's all participate actively in this struggle which is spreading across
Europe and so-called North America. Antifascism can no longer be just tied to a
subculture, but must be an important part of an effective struggle to root out racism.

For pictures, check original at
https://avtonom.org/en/news/anarchist-black-crosss-annual-overview-repressions-2016 ----
The Russian authorities continue to prosecute and jail our comrades. In the summer and
fall of 2016, demonstrations of solidarity with the convicts were held all across the
globe. The anarchists are furthermore suffering repressions in jails, but keep the spirit
up. If you think that we have missed something important in our article or are aware of
other repressions, feel free tocontact us at abc-msk@riseup.net Free at last ---- In
November, three and a half years after imprisonment, anti-fascist activist Alexey
Gaskarov, convicted in the framework of Bolotnaya Square case, was finally freed. "I
regret that we have agreed to take part [in the trial]. We should have, like Soviet
political prisoners, turned our backs and kept silent, and not take it as an attempt to
find out the truth", Gaskarov said in his first interviews after his release.

"A few videos clearly showed that the incriminated episodes had happened
before the riots started. I believed it would be a simple case, I would
show them the video, and everything would be ok.

"Instead, I was showing the evidence, the judge was nodding, but there
was no reaction. The whole trial looked as if the decision had already
been taken, the verdict written, and everyone was just hoping this to
end quickly", Gaskarov said.

Gaskarov wrote ten tips on how to help a political prisoner, which
include: help the advocates; quickly inform the others if the prisoner
reported abuse and other violations of their rights; do not let the
individual feel themselves lonely: write them letters, try organising
different sorts of activities;send deliveries and money to the prisoner
and their family; do not leave the individual alone after they were
released - help them adapt to the new life.

News from prisons

The anarchist Alexey Suguta, convicted to 3.5 years in prison following
a case trumped up by the Centre E (for extremism - Avtonom.org), is
still locked up in a penal colony in Angarsk, Irkutsk Oblast. He is set
to be released in May 2017. Alexey is constantly pressed by the prison's
administration, he has been repeatedly sent to SHIZO (solitary
confinement in severe living conditions - Avtonom.org), and is not even
allowed to meet his mother.

His mother Olga has told about how to better write letters to prisoners:
"First of all, you should not pity them. This is a taboo. No need for
pity, the guys are not dead. Once Ilya Gushchin (another prisoner in
Bolotnaya Square case - Avtonom.org) has even written that pity doesn't
make sense because they are also living a life. Dmitry Buchenkov, in
turn, wrote in his latest letter that soon after imprisonment he has
heard someone saying: ‘You don't survive in prison, you live there.'
Pity brings down your spirit."

You can write to Alexey Suguta using the following address: 665809

Crimean anarchist Alexander Kolchenko, also known as Tundra, has
recently turned 27. He celebrated his birthday in jail. Kolchenko was
convicted to 10 years in prison in the framework of the so-called
Crimean terrorists case. He was taking part in demonstrations against
Russian troops entering the peninsula and arson attack against the local
offices of Putin's party United Russia and the nationalist Russian
Community of Crimea.

Kolchenko is not feeling down. "I'm ok. After human rights activists'
visit, I was given access to newspapers. Just a few,[but]they said
it's all they could find. But before the activists' visit they couldn't
find even this... Since no methods apart from complaints proved effective,
I will keep on that way.

"Lately I have not read books, only the newspapers I was given.[If]
watching only the TV news, you've got no idea of what is really
happening in the country - those few good newspapers now serve me a
reminder.

"I am still upholding my anarcho-communist views. Although I am
interested in theoretical conceptions and experience of left social
revolutionaries, syndicalists, communist worker councils, autonomists,
left-wing nationalists, etc. Since the military conflict in eastern
Ukraine began, I have taken a pacifist internationalist stance, and, in
contrast to some self-proclaimed Left, I was not supporting any side."
Write more letters to Tundra! Kolchenko Alexandr Alexandrovich,56612,

Anarchist Ilya Romanov, proclaimed ‘terrorist' by military tribunal, has
been transported to Mordovia. Romanov was injured by the explosion of a
self-made firework in October 2013, but the unlucky pyrotechnician was
qualified as terrorist by Centre E in Nizhny Novgorod and sentenced to
10 years in penal colony. Romanov lost hand in the explosion and needs
an artificial limb.

Romanov's senior family members that tried to send him money by post
were detained by police. All his bank accounts have been suspended.

Under investigation

Historian and anarchist Dmitry Buchenkov is still awaiting a trial in
the framework of Bolotnaya Square case. According to the investigators,
Buchenkov attacked policemen and was turning toilet boxes upside down.
The repressive authorities are perfectly aware of their lies: Buchenkov
was not on Bolotnaya Square that day, visiting his parents in Nizhny
Novgorod. The man captured by video cameras, whom the investigators
claim to be Buchenkov, is looks like a completely different person (the
real Buchenkov is on the right).

Complaint against his arrest and politically motivated prosecution has
been sent to the European Court of Human Rights.

"Here in the prison I have started to feel a deep hate for the modern
state apparatus and class society. It is a very important acquisition
for a revolutionary. I did have this feeling before, but on a purely
cognitive level. Now, this has transformed into a deep emotion. I should
thank the Investigative Committee for forming my identity as a
revolutionary", Buchenkov writes from his confinement.

Sentences

Local activist Elizaveta Tsvetkova from Taganrog, RostovOblast, was
sentenced to a year in prison following her distribution of materials
critiquing the police. The investigators claim that she downloaded the
materials from social network VK, printed them out and distributed on
public transport stops and light poles the night before the Police
Officer Day in November 2014.

"Maybe I'm just easily impressed, but I think that you can't stay away
after the publications about the trials that have gotten a lot of public
attention: the case of police officer Evskyukov that has shot dead
civilians in a supermarket, and tortures in[police department in]
Tatarstan where a man was killed, Tsvetkova explained.

"These cases provoke negative attitude to illegal actions of policemen.
I am sure that the cases of bribery, torturing and killings should be
stopped."

In the Czech Republic, the judge announced the verdict to Russian
anarchist Igor Shevtsov who has long lived in Prague. The judge has
acknowledged the insufficiency of evidence that Shevtsov attacked the
house of the Defence Minister with Molotov cocktails(however, refusing
to declare him not guilty).

Yet, the judge has found Igor guilty of causing damage to prison
property and condemned him to deportation from the Czech Republic for
two years. Igor appealed the decision and managed to get it annulled in
the court of higher jurisdiction, which nevertheless banned him from
attending "public anarchist events."

"From the beginning, it was clear that the verdict is all too
weird,"writes Antifenix, the project about anarchists in the Czech
Republic whose prosecution is politically motivated. "It is weird
because nowhere does it explain what a public anarchist event means.
Although the verdict specifies "marches and demonstrations", no one
really knows how to implement it and where the borders of the ban lie.
This led to police taking initiative and defining virtually every public
gathering that Igor attends as anarchist. As a result, every month Igor
receives a list of events that he cannot attend, including concerts,
discussions, solidarity demonstrations, and charity meetings."

Administrative prosecutions

Anarchist activist Igor Martynenko, a member of the Autonomous
Action, was unexpectedly detained while leaving a training seminaron
human rights activism in Irkutsk in April.Martynenko is an active
participant of the project Strategy 18, the joint project of the
Anarchist Black Cross and Irkutsk human rights activists, named after
Article 18 of the Russian Constitution that guarantees that the rights
and freedoms of the citizens are directly applicable.
"In my speech at the trial I said the case was politically motivated.
The judge pretended not to know what Centre E is, so I had to enlighten
them," Martynenko said.

In Crimea, the prosecution continues against the anarchist Alexey
Shostakovich, who keeps participating in demonstrations despite the
oppressive atmosphere established on the peninsula. Following his
participation in the demonstration of solidarity with Russian political
prisoners, he was fined 20,000 roubles ($340).

"Today I have realised that in the issues crucialfor the security
services, the judicial system of Russia is ready to violate any law.
Clearly, the FSB and police want to show that the rules do not apply to
them in the same way," Shestakovich said.

Two months after, when the activist applied for a permission to hold a
small demonstration, he was detained for a few hours, with his home
searched. Shestakovich was charged with cannabis consumption and fined
4,000 roubles ($70).

Another Crimean activist Sergei Vasilchenko got 10 days in jail for
allegedly keeping ‘extremist materials'. The house of the activist was
searched, with his father threatened with a gun.

Public events in the framework of International Campaign of Solidarity
with Anarchist and Antifascist Political Prisoners in Russia was held in
Belarus, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Israel, Spain, Sweden, and
Ukraine. In Russia, political prisoners were supported in St.
Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and Simferopol.
