Nicole R. Fronczak, 27 of Silver Springs is facing numerous charges following an early morning traffic stop on February 11th on Route 19a in the Town of Castile. Fronczak was pulled over after deputies said she was observed driving across the center yellow lines of the roadway. Following a roadside investigation and field sobriety testing, Fronczak was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Fronczak was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where she supplied a breath sample of 0.14% BAC. Fronczak was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, driving with a bac of .08 or greater, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree. Fronczak was released with appearance tickets and will answer the charges in the Town of Castile Court on March 6th, 2017.
Two men are facing numerous charges following a business check during the late night of February 13th. Two occupied vehicles were observed parked and running at a closed business in Perry Center, so Sheriff’s Deputies checked to make sure everything was okay. An investigation led to the arrest of Jesse W. Schuster, 33 of Perry and Shane D. Vasile, 50 of Warsaw. Police said Schuster was found to have driven to the business with three suspensions on his license and was subsequently arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree and unlicensed operation. Schuster was released with appearance tickets and will answer the charges in the Town of Perry Court at a later date.Vasile had been alleged to be in possession of numerous drugs and paraphernalia and was placed through field sobriety testing. Vasile failed field sobriety and was placed under arrest for driving while ability impaired by drugs. Vasile was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where a certified Drug Recognition Expert completed a drug influence evaluation on Vasile. Vasile was determined to be impaired by the combination of central nervous system stimulants, narcotic analgesics, and cannabis and is unable to operate a vehicle safely.
Vasile was charged with driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Vasile was released with appearance tickets and will return to the Town of Perry Court at a later date.
