If you are negotiating for higher humanitarian project & job creation rates, and if you have zim, where an HSBC branch is is irrelevant because you won't be going to one.
When you call the 800# that is posted here, you will be directed to the location nearest you that will handle your redemption appt.
Where that is is a secret at this time for security reasons. But it will be at a secure location. (For example, an airport or military base is a secure location that is not a retail bank branch.) HSBC staffing will be present at that non-bank-branch appt location to exchange your currency.
If you are elderly and nervous about driving an hour or so away, you can call a church in town and ask if they have someone that can drive you to an appt you have. (You won't disclose specific details of the appt, just have it sound dry & vague, like having to do some legal paperwork from something personal within your family.)
After your initial exchange, you will make an appt to meet with bank personnel to further move forward in your financial planning. At the first exchange location, when you make the second appt, they can let you know where that more regular next banking appt would be. Because of your wealth (and because you are not by an HSBC branch to easily meet at), likely a wealth manager will be coming to you.
It's been said that HSBC will be converting the Bank of America branches over to HSBC branches. (BoA was corrupt, and because of it's failure was acquired by the same people that own HSBC, who are the same people - Elders - releasing these funds to you.) So, you may be having an HSBC branch near you shortly (if have a BoA there). Usually, people with alot of money don't go into regular retail bank branches. They have bankers come to them, work on their behalf via a phone call, or meet at specialty wealth management locations. (That bank high-rise you see in a city has many different divisions in it. The one with the bank teller is only a small part of the bank.)
At the first exchange appt, you will be directed to the next steps.
