"The Meaning of Money" by LJ - 2,8,17

Beloved DC Family and World:

Benjamin Change Ungerman has challenged us to think about the meaning of meaning in Unity (of money).

Some will say it simply represents a unit of exchange, or energy. In some way, this is true.

But why should anyone need such a thing just to have what they need/desire. In a place of Unity, in God's World, abundance just is. It is there for the One and there for the All.

Money, by its very nature, creates competition -- a place of haves and have nots/having more than -- representing a perceived value, whether of an individual, a community, or a nation. Even as we strive for "fairness" by creation of asset-backed currency to ensure each nation is equitably valued... Who determines what commodity, or thing, has value, and how it is related to other items of value?

What is "fair" and what is "equitable"? It still implies that one has greater value than another. In Unity, each is valued as a Child of God. None greater, none less -- each perfect in its Individuality in the Whole just for Being. It doesn't matter what strip of land one calls home -- in Unity, all resources serve Everyone, each to his needs, with no competition among Us.

Let us remember that this immense "wealth" is a means to an end. Not to set ourselves or our families up for life, although I judge no one for doing so. It is to create a world in which All God's children are abundant -- no lack and no need for competition.

As we Remember our true nature as co-creators with God, we can manifest our thoughts and dreams in joy, for the en-joy-ment of creation and of the All.

No need for money. Just Love. For each One, as part of All, in service to each other and the Most High.
