"The Coming RV"
Entry Submitted Anonymously at 8:41 AM EST on February 5, 2017
God’s Word spells out plainly what is about to happen:
25 I will praise you in the great assembly.
I will fulfill my vows in the presence of those who worship you.
26 The poor will eat and be satisfied.
All who seek the Lord will praise him.
Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy.
27 The whole earth will acknowledge the Lord and return to him.
All the families of the nations will bow down before him.
28 For royal power belongs to the Lord.
He rules all the nations.
29 Let the rich of the earth feast and worship.
Bow before him, all who are mortal,
all whose lives will end as dust.
30 Our children will also serve him.
Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord.
31 His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born.
They will hear about everything he has done.
Psalm 22:25-31

"Horse Sense"
Entry Submitted by Loneredoak at 11:14 AM EST on February 5, 2017
I'm a sucker for a good parable. I always have been. It's what led me to the bible at a young age. Here's my attempt at one if ya'll want to hear it.
A fine horse stands in a corral all day with a bare minimum of food and water. There's nothing under his feet except dirt and excrement. He languishes each day in semi-misery. One day he sees a large juicy carrot in front of him just waiting for his enjoyment. He walks to it imagining how wonderful such a treat could be. But, just as he reaches it something pulls it further away. Undeterred, he makes another attempt but once again is left carrotless. Instead of giving up he continues his approach again and again. He is not angry but, rather intrigued and inspired as the juicy treat seems to get bigger, fatter and more orange every step taken.
Suddenly, a gate closes behind him and he finds himself in a small, tight pen. He is fearful as he is sprayed, washed, hooves trimmed, curried, mane combed and released.
A tarp in front of him falls and he sees a large green pasture with a brook, tall grass and the prettiest fillies he has ever seen. He rushes in not knowing what to experience first, happier than he ever thought possible.
But one thing that is certainly not on his mind is that stupid RV...er, carrot...
Love ya,
