The Ministry of Industry, it has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Industry of Iran for the design and establishment of industrial cities in the number of Iraqi provinces.
Sabah newspaper reported today (Wednesday February 15, 2017), the Minister of Industry and the agency, "Mohammed Shia 'Al Sudani" signed with his Iranian counterpart, "Mohammad Reza Zadeh basked" in Baghdad signed an agreement to design and build industrial cities in some Iraqi provinces.
The newspaper added that "the Sudanese," he said ahead of the signing of the agreement that "the construction of industrial zones of the priorities of the Ministry of Industry and Mines, and Iraq is keen on cooperation with Iran in this regard due to the experiences of Iran in the construction of industrial cities."
He said "the Sudanese," saying, "For this purpose, the three neighboring provinces of Iran, a, Maysan and Basra, Wasit ready to implement the construction of industrial cities projects."
The newspaper pointed out that the Iranian minister said, for his part, "The industrial cities provide an opportunity to invest for Iraqi businessmen and pointed to the presence of 750 industrial city in Iran, with more than 40,000 industrial units and productivity", and between Nematzadeh "Iran is ready to build a number of cities typical industrial in Iraq. "
The Ministry of Industry and Minerals has drawn up plans to set up an industrial city in each province and two in the capital, Baghdad, and the Minister of Industry said in an earlier statement to him, that "the government and within the industrial cities project, plans at present to set up one of them in each of the two counties in the capital, Baghdad."
The Iranian Minister of Industry, "Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh," had arrived last Monday to the city of Baghdad to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition of Iran.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) –Head of the Islamic State (IS) police was killed in Western Mosul on Tuesday by a US-led anti-IS Coalition airstrike.
Coalition planes on February 14 targeted an IS position in Mosul and killed Haqi Ismael al-Hadidi, head of IS police in Nineveh Wilaiyat.
According to information obtained by the Kurdistan Region Security Council’s (KRSC) Counter Terrorism Department the IS senior member and his companions were killed in western side of the city of Mosul.

General Raymond Thomas told a military news outlet that the US and its partners were on the verge of capturing the IS group’s self-claimed capitals of Raqqa in Syria and Mosul in Iraq.
Military sources from the Iraqi air force stated that coalition airstrikes on Tuesday killed 14 IS extremists, and injured nearly 20 others in different areas of western Mosul, Iraqi local media reported on Wednesday.
The sources stated that the targeted IS extremists were from different nationalities, adding that several IS vehicles were destroyed.
The strikes, carried out Feb. 11 by an Iraqi F16, resulted in the death of 77 extremists, including 13 senior commanders, in Anbar province near the border with Syria, the Iraqi military said in a statement on Monday.
One of the airstrikes also targeted the terror group's supreme commander, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi — but officials have been unable to verify if he was at the location at the time of the attack and there was conflicting information about his status
