Coronation Street has an opportunity for an experienced storyliner/story editor to support the story producer and producer in creating and delivering our storylines.

We’re looking for a talented story editor to join our editorial department, helping to create and produce storylines to the highest standard. Liaising with the Series Producer, the Assistant Producer and the Story Producer, you will prepare, supervise and edit storyline documents ensuring they’re delivered to agreed deadlines and to the highest possible standard.

You would be responsible for leading talk-throughs, editing storylines, liaising with Production and chairing story meetings when appropriate.

You will have a proven track record in storylining and script editing in continuing drama and a fluent understanding of the production process. You’ll be brimming with story ideas and have a genuine passion for Coronation Street. This is not a role for the faint-hearted – you must be passionate, energetic, dedicated, talented, and resilient. Above all, you’ll have a great sense of humour to get you through the long hours.
