Anita Tomasevich - Stavrou was born and raised in Belgrade. She studied at the Piano Department of the Academy of Arts at the University of Novi Sad (Serbia), where she obtained her B.A
degree with honors and M. Mus in Piano Performance. She continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands and performed extensively throughout Europe starting with her debut performance at the age of ten, after which she continued to give recitals both in (former) Yugoslavia and abroad, including major halls in Russia, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and made numerous appearances on the national Radio and Television. She currently lives in Cyprus.
