The part of the Planet  we call Mexico stands with Standing Rock / La parte del Planeta
que llamamos México, permanecemos en pie de lucha junto a Standing Rock ---- From the part
of the Planet we call Mexico we raise our prayers and our voices to make them reach the
Lakota people in North America. They are fighting to defend their territory against the
imposition of the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) -project of death which puts at risk the
water of the Missouri River and the sacred sites of this original town. ---- We condemn
the repeated attacks by the US government's security forces against the various camps that
have been held since April 2016 by water protectors. These water protectors have been
supported by people from all over the world, people who have travelled to North Dakota to
share their word and some of them have even placed their triebe flags in solidarity with
the Sioux nations.

These days, Donald Trump's government forces are attacking the Oceti Sakowin and Rosebud
camps, the closest to where the DAPL is to be built, implementing an "eviction" order to
oust the Lakota people from their ancestral lands. In addition, it keeps all camps
surrounded by militarized police and the army, as it has been done for hundreds of years.
We condemn and repudiate the brutal acts of violence that the Trump administration has
launched against our Lakota brothers and sisters, in the same way that we have already
repudiated here, in the part of the world that we call Mexico, whenever disdain and lack
of respect manifest against our indigenous peoples.

Throughout all corners of the parts of the Earth we call Mexico and the United States,
governments and corporations threaten to cross and destroy indigenous land with gas & oil
pipelines, highways, mines, airports, dams and a many other projects that are doing
nothing but exacerbating a new colonial model: extractivism.

We recently had the visit of Cheryl Angel, Lakota woman who along with her brothers and
sisters are fighting in Standing Rock, who with her prayers, spirituality and solidarity,
left us an image of the power of action and the courage of the Lakota people. The Lakota
are maintaining their peaceful resistance through nonviolence. The visit of Cheryl Angel
left us a message of the brotherhood and sisterhood that are built among the peoples who
struggle together for a better world, erasing with it the borders that have been imposed
by the financially powerful and that are being stressed by the ambition of those who
pretend to dominate our Planet .

That is why, in the face of the aggressive, cynical, racist and fascist policies of the
new government of Donald Trump, we say to those who resist in the part of the Planet that
we call the United States: that they are not alone, their struggle is our struggle,
because for the protection of water, land and life there are no borders, let alone imposed
ones.

Faced with the repression suffered by militants "guilty" of humanitarian aid to refugees,
Roma, undocumented migrants ... a broad coordination of associations is taking place with
a first action scheduled on 9 February in all France. ---- While the trade unionists of
Air France, Goodyear, Continental and demonstrators against the labor law were subjected
to the onslaught of socialist policemen and justice, other militants, often more discreet,
were treated. in the same way. Their offense: to assist the stay of irregular persons in
the national territory. More specifically, to have sheltered, nurtured, cared for,
transported voluntarily men, women, children in great distress. ---- What do all these
militants and activists of different origins, opinions and beliefs have in common? It is
the refusal of injustice, inhumanity and a solid morality. What is right must be done even
if it is not legal. The symmetry and violence of state repression unveils the cruelty of
liberalism in all its aspects. But also his hypocrisy: where is the famous freedom to
undertake, to succeed, to enrich oneself for these "illegal" humans? The violence of
repression also shows that the globalized capitalism put in place at the turn of the 1990s
is already out of breath and that the revolt is rumbling so strongly that our liberal
socialist leaders have decided to strike very quickly and very strongly to extinguish the
homes of disobedience.

Amnesty for solidarity offenders

A manifesto was made public in early January around well-known national organizations such
as Cimade, Gisti, LDH, Romeurope, the Syndicat de la Magistrature, Fondation Abbé Pierre,
UJFP, Secours Catholique, MRAP ... More A myriad of local associations mounted in
emergency around Calais or a reception center for asylum seekers (Cada), a slum or an
expulsion ...

On the union side, Solidaires and some CGT or FSU structures registered in this battle,
but there is a margin for progress! On the political side, EELV, OCL and LA are the only
forces present at the launch of the call. We can hope for some reinforcements but the
spring elections obviously monopolize the energies ... On February 9 will be the occasion
of a press conference in Paris, probably place of the Republic from 10 hours, and
associations in the region are invited to Multiply the apparitions since February 8 and 10
are held two more trials, one in the North, the other in the South. Beyond these three
days of mobilization, the site of Gisti lists all the lawsuits brought and allows to
follow the judicial news, region by region. The manifesto is snowball: more than one
hundred organizations are already signatories. The offense of solidarity must be abrogated
and the militants relaxed and amnestied.

Goethe, Strasbourg. From 5pm to 7pm. ---- The Kind of Violence in Neoliberal Governance: A
panel discussion with Jules Falquet, HDR lecturer at Paris-Diderot University and member
of the CEDREF-LCSP laboratory. ---- By revealing the continuities that connect misogynist
violence with coercive military-police methods, Jules Falquet will bring to light the
gendered logics of globalized "governance", here named, by antiphrase, Pax neoliberalia.

In June 2013 the streets of several cities of the country were taken by demonstrations
against the increase in criminal and abusive bus fares and public transportation.
Companies that act as mafias and that monopolize the public mobility, violating the people
with a precarious service and one of the most expensive of the world in relation to the
average income of the working class. For many years in complicity with their political
cronies in the state and municipal governments, these entrepreneurs profit millions of
dollars of money with contractual clauses that allow the annual increase in tariffs. Thus,
they humiliate and force the people to submit daily to hours in a transport of poor
quality, inhuman and that by far does not meet their needs.

In Porto Alegre it was no different, where the Block of Struggles fought in the streets
for a totally public transport and the access of the population to the city. But for
fighting, six comrades were criminalized by the state, suffering political persecution and
a process full of untruthful arguments. As in other similar cases, business media,
justice, and the state articulate in every way to characterize acts and protests as a
crime. Today, February 21, the first hearing of a process that has been in progress for
four years takes place. And the date will also include an act against the criminalization
of social movements, which will be held at 9 am, in front of the Central Forum of Porto
Alegre.

Without retreating we join the ranks against the violence of the state and its
institutions of military and judicial repression. We repudiate the bloodletting of the
mafias of public transport along with the politicians against the people. It is with this
will that the Anarchist Federation of Rio de Janeiro sends its solidarity and support to
the six criminalized members of the Block of Fights of Porto Alegre.

PROTEST IS NOT A CRIME!
AGAINST THE CRIMINALIZATION OF SOCIAL MOVEMENTS!
AGAINST THE CRIMINALIZATION OF AND WHO FIGHT! ALL SOLIDARITY!
FOR THE IMMEDIATE ABSOLVATION OF THE PERSECUTED ACTIVISTS!
