I had the honor of hosting a lunch for Children of Chernobyl with a couple 90+ year old German men and several of the old party bosses I had been working with on this project. We had just come back from delivering millions of dollars worth of food, medicine and medical equipment to several of the clinics located in the district where many of the Chernobyl victims were now being housed.
You see, when the accident happened they had just finished building a new suburb just out of the city. It was the most modern and best built suburb in all Ukraine and who do you think they planned on living there, you got it, the politicians, the rich, the elite of this land. Well God had other plans because he saw his children in need so he put the victims of chernobyl in a place they belonged, in that city, best clinics, most modern shops, nicest apartments and all.
Our two German guest had been responsible for collecting all the aid in Germany and delivering it to Kiev. As we sat down to lunch the eldest of the German guest made this statement. "This is the second time I have visited Kiev, the first time I was on a mission to destroy you, in the war, I prefer this visit a whole lot more."
After comparing notes our guest realized that they had been shooting at each other from across the river many, many years ago. The Ukrainian man stood up walked around the table, put a bear hug on the old German man and said "Thank God I did not kill you. You know when elephants fight it's always the ground that suffers."
He went on to tell the story of how his mother had been separated from the family when the people fled the city because of the bombing. "They hid in the woods, in large camps. The trees located there are no good for the sawmills because of all the bullets in them. After the bombs stopped dropping my mother returned to the area where her house once stood, she looked around and started doing what all her neighbors were doing, picking up the bricks that were once her house, dusting them off and piling them to be used again to reconstruct a new house. I live in that house now!"
I believe many of us here on D.C. know who the ground is in this fight. I think we all have our stories of survival. I think all of us are tired of the elephants in the room.
A message of love to the powers that have been, are now and will be. Stop fighting please. Look at all the children and the elderly you are affecting in your fight. Think of all the dreams, hopes and aspirations you are trampling on as you push each other around the world. Think of the countries you have destroyed in your battle for control. Think about the ground, the grass, the world you and your future generations have to live on. Please Stop, No More War, No More Fighting!
You have failed miserably in your battles to prove your righteousness, it is time to let the ground rejuvenate, replenish it self, bring itself back to life and to let it create a playground of love for the children of the world to live In-Joy.
While looking for a video to put up with this post I came across the one posted below. How ironic that in our zim we now hold the keys to stopping all this insanity, we hold a part of the mineral rights to one of the countries whose ground has suffered the most from this fight, let's put these rights to work and use them to H.E.A.L (Heal Earth And Life) All the Earth and All the Life that have suffered while the elephants have fought.
God has placed us here, in the best place, because we are the ONEs responsible for rebuilding our playground. I look forward to seeing many of you there as we watch our children and grandchildren play!
