"Funny, y'know? After all the highways, and the trains, and the appointments, and the years you end up worth more dead than alive." -Willy Loman

And that brings us to tonight's word: DEATH OF A SALESMAN

Death of a salesman indeed. I spent my entire life in sales. Starting at the young age of 10 years old going door-to-door selling magazine subscriptions. It teaches character. It teaches you that you are in control of your destiny. Work harder, get paid more. Don't close and you starve. Maybe not at 10 years old but you get my drift.

They say every aspect of our society has is related to sales. Going to job interview, you got to sell yourself. That goes for raises and promotions as well. Accountants and dentists? There's only so many teeth and tax returns in the world so yeah, that too. You want a certain response from someone? You got to sell them on your desired outcome. Not to mention all the loan officers, plumbers, car dealers, pen salesman, grocery stores …..the list never ends. And don't even get me started on dating. Tell me why I should date you in 100 words or less. Go.

So we were all born into this world of competition. One person gets the gold watch and the rest of the room is left feeling in adequate. That's the way it is. Or perhaps maybe the way it was. With Gesara coming out, and everyone getting a nice little chunk of change, will this world of competition crumble? Will we still have to always be closing?

This is a video from Glengarry Glen Ross. Many sales managers treat this as Bible and is a must watch for any salesman. Warning: there are some F bombs if you choose to watch. Oh the manipulation we use to get that buyer to sign on the dotted line.

Coffee is for closers indeed. Can you imagine this is what we've come to? That this is what sales managers across the country in all industries hold high as the word of the God of hitting your numbers? This is where we are in this world of competition that the cabal so cleverly set up? To pit us slaves against each other for a limited amount of cheese? The feeling that you must manipulate another person in order to feed your family is just wrong. No other way to say it.

There's a saying in sales that nobody buys anything unless they perceive it will improve their lifestyle. Now that's great if you have a good product that fulfills that promise. And if you have a crappy product that no one wants? Ever hear the saying "selling ice to Eskimos"? What if selling ice to Eskimos is the only job you can find? Well that's another thank you to the cabal isn't it? Thank you for creating this concept called money and sending us out there to peddle all this plastic junk.

I'm not here today to show you how dismal a salesman's life can be. I'm here to think about post RV and us as humanity living in peace. Without having to get one over on your fellow man. Without manipulating one fire a living. Hopefully we can all just live without having to step on your brothers hand just to climb the ladder. Forget the ladder, just for us to live in harmony. That we don't have to stoop so low to reach so high? We can just live as God meant for us to live? Wouldn't it be nice?

Death of a salesman? Maybe death of the sales industry. Now that would be something.

And that's the word

"Ride Natty Ride"

Dready got a job to do
And he's got to fulfill that mission
To see his hurt is their greatest ambition, yeah!
But-a we will survive in this world of competition,
'Cause no matter what they do
Natty keep on comin'through,
And no matter what they say
Natty de deh every day. yeah!
Natty Dread rides again,
Through the mystics of tomorrow,
Natty Dread rides again:
Have no fear, have no sorrow, yeah!

All and all you see a-gwan
Is to fight against Rastaman.
So they build their world in great confusion
To force on us the devil's illusion.
But the stone that the builder refuse
Shall be the head cornerstone,
And no matter what game they play,
Eh, we got something they could never take away;
We got something they could never take away:

And it's the fire (fire), it's the fire (fire)
That's burning down everything:
Feel that fire (fire), the fire (fire);
Only the birds have their wings, yeah!
No time to be deceived.
Oh, brothers, you should know and not believe:
Jah say this judgement - it could never be with water,
No water could put out this fire (fire):
This fire (fire), this fire (fire),
This fire (fire), a yaga y'all! Ride, Natty, ride!
Go deh, Dready, go deh,
'Cause now the fire is out of control,
Panic in the city, wicked weeping for their gold!
Everywhere this fiyah is burning,
Destroying and melting their gold,
Destroying and waisting their souls.

Go ride, Natty, ride!
Go deh, Dready! Go deh!

Tell you what: now the people gather on the beach
And the leader try to make a speech,
But the Dreadies understandin' that it's too late:
Fire is burning;
Man, pull your own weight!
Fiyah is burning;
Man, pull your own weight!
Natty Dread rides again (Natty Dread rides again);
And me say, Go deh, Dready! Go deh! (go deh, go deh)
Oh ride, Natty, ride! (Dread rides again)
And go deh, Dready! (Go deh, go deh)
Ridin' through the storm,
Riding through the calm (go deh, go deh).
Oh ride, Natty, ride!
Go deh, Dready, go deh!
Ride, Natty, ride!
