Walk the Museums
Walk the Museums picks up the idea of an open night of museums practiced in many European cities to opening up museums for visitors, creating an unusual and surprising atmosphere and lowering the threshold to step in and explore. Exhibitions, educational programs for Primary and Secondary schools, guided tours, musical events and much more will take place in the museums around the city and district of Pafos. The project aims at attracting more visitors to museums and make them more accessible by creating a network and a virtual bridge, making museums an essential part of the urban everyday landscape. An initiative of the European Capital of Culture Pafos2017 to unite Pafos museums in a series of unusual in situ activities.
