Ī¤raditional Routes
Two days filled with traditional sounds, images and flavours, dedicated to the folklore culture of Cyprus and other countries. In 2017, the European Capital of Culture welcomes music and dance from Cyprus, Pontus, the Mediterranean Sea and other European Capitals of Culture.
Focussing on folklore creation, the festival stages a shadow theatre will be set up, traditional games, fairy tales and presentations of tools, musicalinstruments as well as food and wine. The “Ktima” Folklore Association organises this event with the participation of music and dance ensembles of foreign residents as well as a folklore group from the Basque Country.
