The Vallnord ski slopes are nearby. A cable car service going up in the La Massana town center to the nearby ski resort of Pal - Vallnord. Operating in summer for those who enjoy hiking in the mountains or want to enjoy the organized activities at Pal ski station.

Escaldes - Engordany forms part of the urban area of the Principality of Andorra with a population of around 15.000 inhabitants. The parish is known for its natural warm water springs. Some of the local hotels provide the use of this spring water in their facilities.
Escaldes - Engordany is home to sophisticated Thermal Spa "CALDEA". Further it hosts the yearly returning Jazz Festival in summer months.
