Tell Trump: No Hate in My Name

Dear friends,
Friday January 20th will have implications not just for the next four years but for the future of Amnesty International's work. As President-elect Donald Trump takes office, his actions will have a defining impact on the issues we care about. That is why it is so important that before Trump takes office, he hears from us.

Join us in telling President-elect Trump to abandon the hateful rhetoric that defined his campaign and uphold human rights for all

For the past year, we have listened as President-elect Trump has spoken out against many of the issues that we fight for. We heard about threats to build walls and create Muslim registries. We listened to his views on a potential return to torture, and we witnessed the treatment of protestors at Trump rallies. But as President Trump goes from a candidate to the 45th President of the United States, we need to make sure he hears our message: Renounce hate and choose human rights.

Tell President-elect Trump to uphold human rights for all

This Saturday, the day after the election, we will stand up for human rights. Amnesty International, along with many others, is proud to join the Women’s March on Washington as a sponsor and supporter. With our members, we will be marching to tell Trump: every day in office, every choice you make will define your legacy. You can choose to leave the world a better place or one in which hatred, fear and discrimination grow stronger.

Join us in telling President Trump to renounce hate and choose human rights

Sincerely,

Margaret Huang
