People Quitting Groups?
Wow, people walking out on their Groups? This sure is a change. What does this mean in the Big Picture?
First, I remember when being in a group, especially one of the first, main groups, meant that you would get the "Contract Rate" which was supposed to be way more than what everyone else was going to get. In other words, it was as huge financial advantage to be in a group and have those high rates "Locked In."
What happened to that?
Simple, the rates for individual exchanges shot up through the roof! You no longer have to be in a special group to negotiate and get the very high rates. It seems that the special rate that was locked in for all these years is way low now. It makes perfect sense for these people to walk out and wait to exchange with us as individuals when the 800#s come out. Interestingly, if what we hear is true, it turns out that not only is exchanging with a group NOT an advantage, it is actually a disadvantage!
What Does The Mean For Us?
I think this will make the groups finish up much faster than they had originally thought. After all, with people walking out of the exchange centers, there are way fewer people to process. This means that our time is getting very close...
