The head of the Council of Ministers, Haider alAbadi, on Tuesday, that the international companies will provide job opportunities for Iraqis and extra services for the areas in which it operates.

Kuwait declares large budget deficits

Kuwait announced that the budget for fiscal year 2017-2018 will include a huge fiscal deficit for the third year in a row due to the drop in oil prices.
The Minister of Finance, Anas Saleh, told reporters that the total expected revenue in the budget of the next fiscal year , which begins on the first of April / April of 13.3 billion dinars [$ 43.6 billion] and the total projected expenditure of 19.9 billion dinars [$ 65.2 billion] leaving a fiscal deficit of 6.6 billion dinars [$ 21.6 billion].
The Kuwaiti minister added that the expected oil revenues in the next fiscal year , amounting to $ 38.8 billion , up 36% compared to oil revenues in the current fiscal year.
He explained that these figures were based on the estimated price for a barrel of oil at $ 45.
According to the minister, despite the collapse in oil prices in the past three years, oil revenues still constitute 88% of the revenues of the budget.
The government has launched an ambitious project called "new Kuwait .. 2035" was based on five strategic objectives and 7 substrates are achieved through 164 development projects including 30 strategic project.
And it included the pillars of a government department effective, sustainable economy, and advanced infrastructure, and the structure of living in a sustainable, high - quality health care, and human capital and global creative distinct niche.
