Between Regularity and Irregularity – Audiovisual Art and culture
The International Short Film Festival of Cyprus is an important event which includes multiple activities and takes place in Limassol annually. As part of the exchanges for the European Capital of Culture, Pafos will host a two-day screening event of awarded short films, animation films inspired by the poetry of one of the most important poets of Greek language in the 20th century, Constantine P. Cavafy, video art and documentaries. The aim is to present to the Cypriot audience the locally less known audiovisual art and culture of Japan and its rich tradition. Curated by film directors Ioakeim Mylonas and Alexia Roider (under the general direction) in collaboration with the Tokyo Video Art Center and the Musashiro Arts University Japan and Short Shorts Film Festival Tokyo.
