Update: Solidarity statement for the 2 Basques and the 2 refugees arrested yesterday in Igoumenitsa, Greece

The 2 comrades will not be charged for migrants smuggling (which is good, the district attorney also accepted that their motive was not financial).

They are charged for: (a) facilitating illegal migration and (b) putting refugees' lives into danger (!!!).

Tomorrow it will be decided whether they will remain imprisoned waiting for their trial or whether they will be released.

So solidarity is mostly needed and urgent - the charges may not be smuggling, but they are heavy!
