... For the passage from the spontaneous uprising in rganomeno and continuous struggle for
the social revolution ---- The uprising of December 2008 deposits shows that the social
revolution is possible, that the social and class counter attack - as opposed to
integration, resignation and exatomikefsi- is the only realistic prospect of victory of
the exploited and oppressed. The December uprising is now living as a social project, not
the repetition, but to overcome by themselves struggling at the prospect of social
revolution. ---- To pave the way for social revolution are insufficient spontaneous,
temporary and unorganized outbursts of our just wrath. It requires political, social and
class self-organization on the part of the oppressed for the design, development and
continuity of the race. It is necessary for competitors to set up barriers to the efforts
of assimilation and manipulation attempts kapilefsis, mediation of social and class
elements. With our weapon solidarity to fight the direction of the organization, the
interconnection, meeting and continued struggles from below to create new fronts for the
spread of conflict in every aspect of state and capitalist barbarism.

Our utopia does not stop the outbreak of spontaneous uprising. Not justified by anything
less than a social revolution, the absolute subversion of the state and capitalism and
build a new classless society of equality, solidarity and freedom.

On September 20, an activist collective Tarn forms and commandeered an unused ERDF
building and empty for some years. Bringing together activists to various political
backgrounds, but all and all sensitive to true / false housing problem, the group installs
immigrant families homeless for weeks. ---- The housing problem is first a false problem
because cities and the French countryside is no shortage of empty and unused housing. If
housing crisis there this is not due to demand exceeding supply. But it is also a problem
because the state prohibits requisition of empty housing, alleging all sorts of pretexts,
pure and simple right of use and abuse of his private property for the owner who leaves
his home vacant, at the mention of safety standards (which, in the case of ERDF, did the
never prevented from doing their work are wage earners for years). It is a forced
requisition as we worked. Before installing the families, we had to secure the building
according to our own standards: outlet covers in the bedrooms and playrooms for children,
maintaining rickety cabinets, blocking access to the basement, etc. Once the building to
"standards", we were able to bring in families with children.

Through the requisitioning of this place we pursue three objectives, inspired among others
what the CREA in Toulouse in the Autonomous Social Center. This is first for us to stay in
emergency anyone who needs a roof and accepts the rules of collective life. Secondly to
promote this self-managed place through the organization of political and cultural events.
Finally, it is self-management experiment between groups of individuals living conditions,
culture, language, and moral ideals and very different policies.

Zero idealization of self-management is here for development, management of community life
requires long time for discussion and formulation of rules. This involves a triple
learning: that of public speaking, that of listening to the word of others (which requires
a struggle against the inferiority of speech of women and that of immigrant women and men)
and that of benevolence in his remarks and criticisms. For it is no small matter than
confront militants and political activists who struggle against poverty, and families of
immigrant-es, who suffer the worst of miseries that either 1, material poverty does not
necessarily generating political and moral ideals among those who suffer. And the militant
side, the humanitarian and paternalistic slope is never far away, so we constantly remind
ourselves that we are not there to help them, but to help each other.

political awareness

This open space is a place of political consciousness for all those who live in or invest
there. And the difficulty is not just that of confrontation between activists and
immigrant families, but it exists in the activists themselves and themselves. If the claim
of the right to housing and the regularization of undocumented migrants we meet, important
political differences do remain. At the policy level organizations, those of the
anti-capitalist front Tarn invested in it (U, CNT NPA). Are also involved members of the
Education Without Borders Network Albi and activists and unaffiliated activists es to an
organization. Everyone is not libertarian or anti-capitalist, we must cope without
compromising himself.

And discussions are richer. Those relating to the holding of the place: should we or not
negotiate with the police? Bringing an usher? An administrative framework ERDF? Those
relating to community life: how to behave in the face of sexist behavior? If physical
violence is a red line, the inferiority of women can take many other forms. Direct
intervention carries more risk of paternalism (or downright racism, which would highlight
the supposed sexism migrants while denying the activists) as emancipatory possibilities.
The ideal would be that through the events organized and the politicization of the place
of life, a feminist consciousness emerges (why not through single-sex meetings? The
urgency of holding the place has not yet allowed us to fully address this issue). Another
subject of heated debate: the relationship to children. Never work with children in a
collective place is neither desirable nor possible. But too much intervention may
interfere with the education of parents, already socially inferior position, can feel
dispossessed of their role. Among adult responsibility and white paternalism limit is
quickly reached and is hotly debated. The political consciousness makes its way to
everyone, militant or not.

All these difficulties do not alter the joy of participating in a self-managed collective
solidarity adventure. Collective meals are always an opportunity for exchanges, serious
and humorous, warm. The meeting of ten children under the same roof awfully brightens the
afternoons and evenings. And, after or during the meetings, it is an intense camaraderie
that animates this new collective, which makes the political debate and identity to be
defined.
