AGAINST THE WORLD DICTATORSHIP OF STATE AND CAPITAL - poverty, exploitation, oppression,
imprisonment, war, uprooting, looting of nature, death is the circumstances that shape the
reality of plebeian layers worldwide. - It is a condition goes with the state and the
capitalist mode of social organization and the violent imposition of political and
economic elites on the great social majority of the oppressed and exploited. - Today the
global systemic crisis demonstrates the complete bankruptcy of the world of the state and
capitalism, which can not give answers to social needs and not to promise anything more
than the rule of the jungle law. ---- Within this broader treaty, the attack of world
domination continually escalating both within the Western world and the capitalist
periphery. On the one hand, incessant military incursions and interventions (Libya,
Ukraine, Syria, Iraq) as a result of the increasing aggression of Western domination
blocks (the Greek State is an integral part of this uneven, internally, alliance) against
local or regional competitors for control, power and ultimately sacking over entire
regions, local populations and natural resources. On the other hand, within the western
metropolis attempts from above to master fear. The Status of Emergency is fixed through
the militarization of societies under the pretext of "security", while the exemption
regime of concentration camps and fence that is built today for "foreign" tomorrow will be
expanded to include those of the power be marked as unnecessary or victimized as an
internal enemy.

Within this context, the upcoming visit of US President to Athens for official talks with
the Greek government on economic issues, geopolitical and management of refugee aims
unwavering alignment of policies of local economic and political elites on the basic lines
laid down by the interests of the global hegemony of the western block, in which the US
held a pioneering role. Simply put aim of these meetings is not only a seamless
continuation of the restructuring process of the Greek state, economy and society, and the
full support and contribution of the plans made to maintain the leading position of the
Western power bloc in the broader geopolitical field, but also the commitment of the
current government SYRIZA-ANEL - as of the government - to discipline society to barbarism
of war and of modern totalitarianism.

The timing of the visit of US President in Athens, the eve of November 17 and during the
three-day event in Athens, comes to serve the timeless aspirations of power for the
prevalence of oblivion against social and class memory. Aspirations but an illusion for
their rulers as the social, political and class struggles keep open the way to overthrow
the existing and the creation of a society of equality, solidarity, freedom.

On November 15 protest against the global dominance state and capital, war and modern
totalitarianism. Demonstrating our solidarity with the bottom of the world, the exploited
and oppressed who dignified struggle for survival and all who rise up and fight against
state and capitalist barbarism.

We are sending the message of solidarity in social and our class brothers in the US,
black Americans suffered racist police violence and state terrorism, workers with massive
strikes are struggling against starvation wages, the insurgents prison against industry
watch; the modern slavery.

We send a message of solidarity internationalist anarchists and communists and fellow
synagonistries in Turkey who fight totalitarianism of the state and capital, as well as
Kurdish fighters and fighters who fight for the self-organization of their communities.

---- Whilst we're all still reeling from Trumpocalypse, there has been good news locally -
a fabulous local campaign kicked out a proposed new Migrant Detention Centre in Paisley.
Well done to all involved and remember - don't mourn the darkness, light a
candle/organise. Do what you can and we will see change when we collectively work and
organise ourselves with solidarity and determination and humour and love and light. ----
Glasgow night shelter for destitute asylum seekers are looking for new volunteers - see
open evening listing 1st December below for more details.

Fracking is currently on hold in Scotland, but the moratorium could end next year as
there's to be a government consultation starting January - watch this space for updates on
keeping this fossil fuel in the ground - climate change is happening but this is something
we can do locally.

Have a good few weeks. Take care of yourselves and don't lose hope that we can make a
difference in the world for the better.

Glasgow Night Shelter for Destitute Asylum Seekers

Open Evening for Winter volunteers on Thursday 1st December at 8pm at the night shelter.

Email us for more details. glasgownightshelter@gmail.com
Imagine being in a strange city in a foreign country on a cold winter's night. You can't
speak the language and you have nowhere to stay. It's starting to rain and you don't know
anyone who can help you...

What do you do? Where do you go?

Glasgow Night Shelter for Destitute Asylum Seekers began in December 2011. Since then we
have been providing somewhere safe and warm to stay overnight for people who because of
their immigratin status cannot access normal homeless services.

Located in a church hall in the west end of Glasgow and run almost entirely by volunteers,
the night shelter provides a hot meal and somewhere safe to stay for up to 15 men every
night, 365 nights a year, including Christmas Day and Hogmanay.

The people we look after are refused asylum seekers who are not eligible for support and
homeless non-EU migrants who because of their immigration status cannot access normal
homeless services.

This group of people face multiple difficulties; often unable to speak English; without
any family or friends who can help them; unable to do paid work; with an insecure
immigration status; not knowing their rights and often scared to draw attention to their
plight for fear of coming to the attention of the authorities, they are blocked from
accessing any support that is funded by public money.

https://glasgownightshelter.org/

Glasgow Night Shelter are looking for new volunteers to help cover over the holiday period
when some of our long-term volunteers leave Glasgow to visit family and friends.
We're also planning to run a day time drop in on Christmas & Boxing Day when everywhere
else will be shut and our guys have nowhere to go. If you're interested in volunteering or
want to help out over the holiday period, the Open Evening will be an excellent time to
find out more!
Contact us for more details, thanks!
