Along the new girder rail track, there is some new asphalt where the crosswalk will go. And drains have been set where the curb will be. The contractors have completed their work for this year, so today the Volkmann guys loaded up the rest of their equipment and left for projects elsewhere. Work on the Central Avenue project will continue as time permits.
Lettering on the 24 has started, as seen here. Buzz did the artwork, and Tim did the spraying. Metallic gold spray paint is being used to represent gold leaf, and it looks great.
Ed Oslowski continues work inside the Electroliner. A lot of the interior parts have been stripped down to bare metal and polished.
Lorne Tweed continues to install the new baseboard parts in the Cleveland PCC.
And I spent most of the day working in the vestibule of the 36. Progress is being made.
So that's about it for today.
