Hello friends,
We’ve got some fantastic news. You and 92,068 All Out members stopped the most pointless vote in the world!
This huge international outcry convinced the Australian opposition to stop the marriage equality plebiscite – a useless, wasteful, and harmful vote.
On Thursday, our partners at Just.Equal met with leaders of the Labor and Greens parties to deliver a giant "thank you" card, decorated with our signatures.

Ivan Hinton-Teoh of Just.Equal summed up this victory: "Blocking the plebiscite will spare LGBT Australians from a hateful and divisive public debate. Now the Australian parliament can get down to the business of bringing marriage equality to its citizens."
Together we won this battle. But the fight for love and equality in Australia goes on.
With your help, we'll keep fighting for a free vote on marriage equality in parliament. We'll stand with our friends in Australia for as long as it takes.
Because this is just the first step: we’ve got a long road ahead of us. And we won’t be able to keep up the fight without your continued support.
From all of us here on the All Out team – thanks for all you do,
Matt, Sarah, Mathias, Igor, Kate, Leandro, Pamela, Devorne, Enrique and Yuri.
