Map of Camps 2016 - Scenes of desolation at the EU borders (EN, FR, AR) | Migreurop Brief no. 4 - Hotspots at the heart of the archipelago of camps (EN, FR)

The opinion column “A Europe United against Refugees”, published after Hungary’s referendum last October 2*, is now available online in in BulgarianCroatianEnglishFrenchGreekItalian,MacedonianSerb and Spanish.

The Migreurop network’s aim was to reiterate that regimes run by explicitly xenophobic leaders are far from alone in pursuing policies of abuse and pushbacks toward exiles. For more than twenty years, the European Union has supported those policies by promoting external border controls and asylum externalization.

Today, we share Migreurop’s latest work through two information tools addressed to the 'general public' and available to all those wishing to use them:

2016 Map of Camps, "Scenes of desolation at EU borders,” in FrenchEnglish and, for the first time, in Arabic.
Migreurop Brief no. 4, "Hotspots at the heart of the archipelago of camps," inFrench and English.
Further translations (amongst others in Spanish and Italian) will be published soon.

A public meeting will be held on these issues in Rabat (Morocco) on November 26. This encounter will also allow us to present again the website en.closethecamps.org which offers dynamic mapping of migrant confinement.

For Migreurop and its members, it will be above all an opportunity to remind their demand for the closure of all camps and the respect for freedom of movement and settlement for all.
