European Union signs deal to deport unlimited numbers of Afghan-asylum seekers to Afghanistan

Thanks for that grotesque bit of news, Tom!
DFID (Department for International Development) clearly had a major hand in imposing this disgusting deportations-for-aid deal. And what a bunch of disgusting hypocrites. The Minister of State is Rory Stewart, who wrote a best-selling book about his passportless hike across Afghanistan, relying on that wonderful Afghan hospitality (and got an OBE).
The Secretary of State is Priti Patel - a fairly new MP, whose parents were expelled from Uganda by Idi Amin:
She sounds a bit of an innocent, albeit with nasty reflexes and no sense of irony. In her maiden speech she said:
I believe that our country is at its strongest when it promotes the spirit of enterprise, the values of hope and aspiration, and the desire to get on in life.
... but not for Afghans, of course.

Naturally, it is extremely hard to find email addresses for these people. Their consciences are protected by The Great Parliamentary Firewall. The best I could find was this:

enquiry@dfid.gov.uk (which promises to "attempt" to reply in 15 days.

I'm not overly excited by online petitions and the like but can anyone can think of anything better?

All the best,

Disgusted, St Andre de Rosans
