Taking place now,Lagos Poetry Festival:
The Lagos International Poetry Festival 2016 builds on the foundation of the festival’s successful 2015 debut. LIPF 2015, which had the theme Borderless Words,saw hundreds of people in attendance over a four day series of events including workshops, panel discussions, readings and performances. It featured 30 poets from across the world and established itself not only as West Africa’s first international poetry festival, but also one of Africa’s annual art and cultural highlights.
