If the fall of the Berlin Wall was the November 9, 1989, symbolically and in practice, the
end of the Soviet bloc and over 70 years of terror in the name of "socialism" and
"communism" authoritarian, as had been anticipated by Bakunin (1), for many years that the
Marxist-Leninist type, dictatorial and state capitalist regimes were challenged by broad
strata of the population in various countries of the "Warsaw Pact". ---- Without

and across the country.
The next day, officers and soldiers joined the students in the capital's streets. The

On 25 October, Soviet tanks, based in the capital, fired on protesters in Parliament
Square. Shocked by these events, the Central Committee of the party forced the resignation
of Gero and replaced it with Imre Nagy (3) the government's leadership, placing thus next
to the popular demands.
Nagy goes to radio and announces the future installation of freedoms, such as the multi -
party system, the extinction of the political police, the radical improvement of the
living conditions of workers and the pursuit of a kind of socialism "consistent with
Hungary's national characteristics".

Change Group, show that women in wait staff and managerial positions are still earning up
to 20 percent less than men in the same jobs.

from The Change Group's database, the results revealed that while women held seven out of
ten waiter roles, men were paid £1,150 per annum more for the job. In restaurant manager
roles, the pay gap closes slightly to 10 percent, but it still means women earn £3,500 less.
Jemima Olchawski, head of policy and insight at gender equality and women's rights charity
Fawcett Society, told MUNCHIES that it's not surprising that the gender pay gap affects
the hospitality industry.

again women's contributions undervalued and underpaid. Women working full time still earn
