Yay or Nay - do you feel sorry for Eileen in Coronation Street?

Every time she comes on screen at the moment I want to throttle Eileen.

I want to shake her by the shoulders (a bit harder than is necessary, yes, I admit) and give her a good shouting-at. Which is what we're supposed to be thinking, of course.  This storyline is running wonderfully and is one I'm enjoying a lot.

Evil Phelan and villain Vinny have stepped up their game to ensure they keep hold of Jason's cash.  It looks like Todd's going to get involved now his mum has been kidnapped by Vinny - see the previews for tonight's episodes.

Meanwhile, we all know that Phelan will break Eileen's heart.

Phelan can't last - it's a soap law that all villains will get their comeuppance.  But while it does last, oh, what evil fun it is to watch and enjoy.

But the big question today is.... does anyone feel sorry for Eileen?
