“HONEY FROM THE ROCK”

SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS!
The parable from today’s Gospel reminds us what a difficult task it is for the blind to lead the blind. Jesus is not questioning the power of the human spirit to overcome such obstacles. What he calls us to consider is our spiritual blindness. Let us pray that our own blindness be cured. We need the grace to be honest with ourselves - that is to recognize our limitations, challenges and weaknesses.
Prayer: Lord, help us to be better disciples. Help us learn self-discipline in our own lives before judging the actions of others. Amen.
