However, when they announce it to their friends on Coronation Street, Tyrone starts to wonder if Roy really does want to get wed.
This week we'll see Cathy deal with Alex's dad, Nigel (played by Little Voice creator Jim Cartwright). This leads to Alex telling Roy he wants to move away to Scotland and Roy takes him there in the Woody. However, Roy's car breaks down on the way to Inverness and Cathy rescues Roy with the help of Kevin Webster.
Tyrone then detects a frosty atmosphere between Roy and Cathy and reaches out to Roy to talk to him about his engagement to Cathy. Roy is adamant he loves Cathy and surprises her when he suggests they set the date for the wedding. But is he sure about his decision?
