NO PATCHWORK; NO COMPROMISES!
Jesus makes use of wine skins used to store wine to teach us the purpose of coming into the world. Just as new wine cannot fit into old wine skins, Jesus’ teaching cannot fit into the thinking of the old. To accept Jesus and his teaching you need to embrace a new life. No patch work; no compromises. A categorical ‘yes’ or ‘no’ is expected. Either be completely made new or remain in the same old misery.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to renew my life in the light of Your Word. Amen.
