Ashli Polizos entered the field of education after a brief career in advertising and public relations. She obtained her master's degree in education from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and is also a graduate of the University of Alabama. She is currently pursuing a master's in instructional leadership from the University of Montevallo.
Ashli teaches 8th grade World History at Oak Mountain Middle School and sponsors their award-winning broadcast team. She achieved National Board Certification in 2011 and continues to encourage other teachers to pursue this reflective, worthwhile opportunity.
Ashli married into a fun-loving Greek family and has two sons and a little girl.
