Lagat ends storied track career with second place finish in Berlin...
BERLIN, Germany—Competing in his final track race as a professional, Washington State University alum and five-time Olympian Bernard Lagat (left/photo by Paul Merca) finished second in the 3000 meter run at the ISTAF Meeting at the Berlin Olympiastadion Saturday afternoon.
The 41-year old Lagat ran 7:43.63, as Kenyan veteran Augustine Choge took the win in 7:43.00.
