Aside from fame, they always looked at the great potential of jazz to uplift man’s soul, mind and body. Following this pathway, they wrote some of the most iconic and forward-looking pages of Jazz, gratifying the listeners of all ages and times. This is a tribute to the timeless legacy they left us. German acoustic guitar magazine «Akustik Gitarre» has likened Stotzem to artists such as Paco De Lucia, Neil Young and Keb’ Mo’. His unique and highly refined playing style combines a well-developed melodic sense, with a rare dynamic approach to the instrument that speaks directly to the listener. Book early. TICKET : 13-15€ FRIDAY 16 SEPTEMBER 2016 SWINGING JAZZ STANDARD REPERTOIRE Rony Verbiest & The Johan clement Trio  Rony Verbiest (accordion), Johan Clement (piano), Bart de Nolf (bass), Luc Vanden Bosch (drums) Ronny Verbiest started playing the accordion at the age of 6 learning from his father, himself a well known accordion player. He enriches traditional musette with jazz elements, classical music, folk music, and also the Argentinian tango. With his peers Richard GALLIANO and Marcel AZZOLA, Rony VERBIEST is one of the new voices on the instrument. In the company of swinging trio of Mr Johan Clement… TICKET : 16-18€ SATURDAY 17 SEPTEMBER 2016 Top Gypsy Jazz Jazzy strings quintet  Alexandre Cavaliere (violin), Jean-Luc Van Lommel (drums), Fred Guédon (rhythmic guitar), Mario Cavaliere (solo guitar), Alexandre Furnelle (bass) A famous group of “strings only” jazz musicians (including the father-and-son Cavaliere duet…) dedicated to the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grapelli. Since 1982, a must in dozens of Festivals. In addition to the eternal Django-Grapelli, repertoire, they will play the most exciting jazz repertoire. Joyful, brilliant and virtuoso music pleasure.
