The impeachment of the show is over. The weather hovering in the air could not be
different: the outcome was given some time and was more than predictable. Like a movie you
already know the end, everyone watches unenthusiastic. The answer that many want to give
is stuck in the throat and hands are tied by a direction that once again puts in elections
the only way possible. Parallel to this sense of failure opens a supposedly more stable
way to the new-old government deliver the attacks he was already planning. Apathy reigns,
or we can open our way to the left? ---- The economic crisis that started in 2008 is
sweeping the world could not leave Brazil outside. The Workers' Party sells the illusion
that a government is possible for everyone, with the working classes benefiting from some
social programs while banks and employers still had high profits. However, we must
understand that although much of the base of the PT is social / labor movements, the PT
represented the interests of the bourgeoisie. It was this party that put Katia Abreu in Mi
istry of Agriculture (famous defender of landowners), who placed Joaquim Levy at the
Ministry of Finance (signaling a neoliberal policy for the economy), which never proposed
to legalize abortion, which vetoed the kit anti-homophobia, which made the program "stork
mother" (which focuses on women's health only in their pregnancy period, going against the
grain of attention to the health of the woman claimed by feminists), which invested in
private higher education (with Prouni and I gathered), etc.

While it is never possible to rule all, this impossibility is even more evident in a
crisis of capitalism scenario. At the slightest sign that social measures represent
economic losses to the capitalist sectors, they are quickly cut. It is in this economic
situation at the end of last year social programs that were so defended by the government
in the health and education suffer cuts and pension reform striding forward. This crisis
scenario shows further as the interests of workers are red dis those of employers, ie, it
becomes more evident the class struggle in daily life. The interests of the capitalists
and workers are irreconcilable and the dispute over who will lose workers has taken hard
blows, but not without resistance. The consequences of the economic crisis stoked tempers
and workers and their youth take to the streets, occupy factories and schools, make
strikes and seeking to recover, by force, what belongs to them. To contain the riots,
governments use and abuse of repression and in Brazil it was clear in the protests of June
2013 and the adoption of anti-terrorism law. The militarization of the slums, schools and
repression in the workplace are the hallmarks of a government that does not hesitate to
govern for the rich.

Although there are differences between those who are doing the impeachment and the PT
government, there is also much continuity as they both defend the bourgeoisie projects. It
is important to remember that until recently many who are now calling for the impeachment
were the Dilma government base, and the PT will leave with the PMDB and other parties
supposedly opponents in several municipalities elections. The truth is that the PT dug its
own grave with his class collaboration project. Aliou to Temer, Cunha and Katia Apr I made
policy for the bourgeoisie and now tries to put as opponents of the reactionary sectors.

The PT is therefore exceeded. Exceeded for workers who no longer see themselves as ruling
for them and passed to a bourgeoisie that can now place a government without mediations.
The figure of Michel Temer in the presidency seeks to recover the stability that the Dilma
government could no longer impose. And even against the impeachment, PT directions even
seek to mobilize the population. In tatters, the party of red star can no longer mobilize
the broad masses to the streets in his defense, as his government & eacut and;
indefensible. The solution found was the characterization of impeachment as a blow, so
that they can set the tone of 2018. In practice elections, the same government plan would
be implemented. In the speech, could re-emerge as an alternative, featuring suffered
setbacks as the PMDB government fruits.

There are few workers who have lost their illusions in the PT and in any political project
of class conciliation, but there are few workers who do not recognize the government Temer
and who know that harsh attacks are yet to come. The will to fight is no shortage. The
will to defend our lives, our jobs and wages is latent, it is necessary. Because of that
we must be sensitive. Thousands of people will not leave the streets to defend the PT
government, either they see Qua ra in the hands of Temer. The longing for self-defense
must find flow and organization into a fighting program to the left and revolutionary,
before succumbing to political projects of the extreme right, which is especially
dangerous in times of crisis.

The attacks that we are getting and that will intensify are coming diffusely. Not only
express the wage squeeze located, where each group of workers needed, and often could give
responses with a local mobilization. The attacks on our class are coming, for example,
through labor reforms, which in requires a broad mobilization, including adding the
sectors that are unable to unionize.

There is a huge challenge ahead of us and left combative need to be able to completely
disentangle the political project of class conciliation, break the bureaucratic remnants
and put in force at the base of militancy, hinging on all fronts that are possible to join
efforts in unit shares. The construction of a general strike is important, but to be able
to get to her and not to be closed in itself, there is plenty to do.

The real defense of our living conditions and work is urgent. The solution to this crisis
is not a new manager of the capitalist state, but the return of the revolutionary
perspective. The belief in the class conciliation project has cost dearly for the life of
the working class and must be removed from the horizon. The output is not in the elections
of bourgeois democracy and not on any new party that is drafting the same trajectory of
the PT. The output is in the class independence, defending intransi people of our
conditions of life and work in our mobilizations by the base and the certainty of the need
for socialist revolution. Fear will have no peace, and no other government had! Our
struggle is advancing!

No more bosses and no more illusions!

Not the attacks of governments!

Frédéric Lordon, François Ruffin, Bernard Friot, Etienne Chouard are the figureheads. They
all have in common is to propose a radical change of society based on the call to
"citizens". But what they really defending? ---- If these proposals may seem attractive at
first, they have often disruptive solutions socialized salary prioritized according to the
type of degree, return to economic protectionism and strong state, links sometimes
troubles with Alain Soral in the case of Stephen Chouard ... ---- Visit our articles
devoted specifically: ---- illusions left ---- Bernard Friot ---- Étienne Chouard ----
June 2 in Montpellier, the local collective of Alternative Libertaire organized a debate
on citizenists thoughts. The latter has full house with 70 people present and exciting
debates that ultimately lasted more than 3:30.

His goal was to bring a critical constructed of thought. Indeed, within the movement
standing Night and more generally the movement against the "Labor Law", we see a strong
development of current that could be called citizenist .

You can listen again below the audio podcast Alternative Libertaire Montpellier including
all discussions:

What is it citizenism name? From Alternative Libertaire on Vimeo .

Interventions were cut into parts that you can download in PDF format:

1. What citizenism?

Political thought that is part of representative democracy, but who claims to renew or
regenerate sometimes with "radical" solutions, but ultimately not offering only illusory
reforms.

2. Presentation of the thought of François Ruffin and Frédéric Lordon.

If they can have interesting ideas, their final perspective is part of the Republic and
the Nation, carried by a form of Keynesian economic sovereignism.

3. Presentation of the thought of Bernard Friot.

His salary socialized proposal is quite unusual. Above all, it offers a strange company:
plant managers, retirees who do not stop working, wage gradations compared to diplomas.

Read his review here by Alain Bihr .

pdf link part 3

4. Presentation of the thought of Stephen Chouard.

It adopts a citizenist speech. He advocates an overhaul of democracy by a passage in the
Athenian direct democracy. Unlike the others, who are people with whom we can fight
despite our disagreements, Chouard is beyond the pale. It has a muddled speech that
clearly is the Trojan horse of the extreme right.

To better understand .

5. What revolutionary perspectives?

For us citizenism is not satisfactory. This is the class struggle in the social movement
in struggles that emancipation born. It will come from the street, will not be limited to
a national space, and will take a revolutionary form. It is embodied in libertarian communism!

The federations making up the International of Anarchist Federations (IFA) and the
organisations present in the 10th congress of the IFA, in Frankfurt (Germany) on the
4th-7th of August 2016, salute the initiative of the Anarchist Gathering at Hiroshima
(Japan). ---- This event marks the anniversary of the nuclear bomb attack in Hiroshima on
August 6th, 1945, and in Nagasaki on August 9th. It helps us remember the double threat
that lingers on to affect human populations: war and nuclear power. ---- Nuclear power is
dangerous. It contaminates natural resources, and is the cause of all kinds of conflicts.
Japan's population is particularly knowledgeable about its potential risks, due to the
recent nuclear disaster in Fukushima. ---- Nuclear power is an integral part of the war
industry. ---- During these times of global terrorist threats and continuous war, it is
important to reaffirm our position against the military industrial complex.

The murderous and imperialist policies of states are to the detriment of populations who
are the first victims of war. They suffer directly in these conflicts, and are often
forced to migrate.

Imperialist countries take advantage of these conflicts by selling arms and waging war in
different parts of the world, such as the military interventions in Africa, the Middle
East and elsewhere for resources. This situation cannot be tolerated.

It is up to us to initiate, pursue and intensify actions against militarism and its
related industries, but also against nuclear power that entails. In the spirit of
international solidarity, we send revolutionary anarchist greetings to our friends and
comrades gathered in Hiroshima. We look forward to working together to fight for a future
society of mutual aid and solidarity, without war.

On September 10 opens in Thessaloniki another international exhibition. - Another TIF will
offer the complete package: Stands monuments consumerism, concerts fragkatous -something
'epifasi- folk singers and of course the prime minister to open the report with
pronouncements about the "future of the economy." - Since 2012, when the country entered
the IMF, until today, one after the other prime ministers who "undertook to save the
country," come to announce new measures, new cuts, new cuts, always vowing the coveted
'development'. ---- The year that was completed for our class, another year of recession.
The attack on the not turned to "earlier centuries" and "Middle Ages" - unlike engraved
and emphasized the image of the future. A future tunnel boring state attack and capital to
work, security, social liberties, the environment and social goods. Following the
reductions in salaries and pensions, cuts in all public benefits, the phasing out of the
Sunday holiday, the tax increase, the price increase in commodities came the change in the
pension system - the smashing to pieces the social security that - and auctions primary
residence.

Meanwhile, humanitarian declarations of SYRIZA for metastaneftiko quickly "translated"
into full compliance with the EU imperatives on the issue. "Settlements hospitality"
sprang up everywhere to stacking immigrants who failed the Greek state to throw overboard
the embarrassing even by the standards of bourgeois democracy among EU agreement and
Turkey entered into force, the solidarity which for months acted in camp began captured
the Idomeni evacuated with intervention of riot police, even the camps -which of course
never not close entelos- now refilled with the world. Immigrants and immigrant women, the
most underrated part of our class tomorrow, stacked -as "ought" to kyriarchia- in
warehouses, tents and prisons, waiting to become the docile workforce of civilized Europe
-a labor alternatives which is zero, the resistance of which will have first crushed and
the value of life which will be considered non-existent.

In this environment, every power that respects itself does the same: on the one deprives
freedoms and "rights" which may once have served the maintenance and the other hardens
repressive arm. Attacking and empties overnight three squats roof locals and migrants and
conniving whenever uniformed guards trample 'democratic rights', the same guards as
yesterday called on to disarm and "ex-dimokratistoun". What it was, after all, if an
Albanian prisoner found dead (03.08.2016) or if two political prisoners were tortured
after their arrest (08/05/2016)? There was no hint or even a -profanos tragelafiki- SAD.
In this lunar landscape, the roads are still not filled. The "popular anger" as some had
expected, still not expressed. In recent years it was relatively unclouded for the ruling
classes, without social unrest and without major resistance. The responsibilities of our
side, those of us who believe in revolutionary rupture with the existing one, are
important. Our organizational and political weaknesses led to our inadequacy to convey a
convincing message of rupture and disclose the reformist fraud. Within months
discontinuity between illusion capturing the SYRIZA program (and any similar social
democratic continuing program of capitalist barbarism with "human face") with the reality
of modern capitalism, it revealed. Failure to confirm the only truth that can arise
effortlessly from the facts: on the territory of today's global capitalist crisis two
paths are opened, or the acceptance of the terms of the global totalitarianism or the
Social Revolution. Average road there.

After two years of debate, the Anarchist Federation was formed in November 2015. It was
for all and all of us who participated in it, a bid for organizational improvement that we
thought that the space needed. A coordinating body, fermentation and coexistence, which
could claim larger action space than what we each of us individually. We never felt that
the Federation would itself be adequate vehicle for building a revolutionary movement.
Tried and still try to act together with comrades with similar, though not necessarily
identical concepts.

Today, a new revolutionary pole must stand against the galloping market totalitarianism
and misleading policies of all sorts of social democracy (parliamentary and
extra-parliamentary). A broad movement that will rally around the goal of a akratikis vent
at the base of libertarian communism, the communalism and liberated human labor. Work of
all of us is to give all our strength to create a social and class standing front attack
would embrace the working class and all oppressed, building a broad community of
solidarity and mutual - model of a new society.

For us, the efforts to form anarchist federation, a horizontal institution policy and
organizational connection towards a libertarian and anarchist program is a decisive step.
The political and organizational upgrading of the anarchist current is a key link in the
direction of creating the conditions of subversion.

We know that breaking the chains can be the work only of the oppressed. No political
organization, any political adjective you used, she can not undertake this task in their
name. Our organizational effort does not seek to seize power but to blow up the
foundations of every authoritarian structure, blocking the road to each aspiring state
administrator.

We tried and continue every day to attempt to set up a political body to sharpen and
consolidate the resistance, help the interconnection of the individual races and
synolikopoiisei them in the direction of social revolution. Declare the present berserk
class war, united against statism and reformism, staring directly into the teachings of
the past and the legacy of historical anarchism, hoping to contribute as much as possible
to support the anarchist communist program. Faced with fragmentation, to oppose the
organization and the struggle to get out of the belly of the monster and to ever see the
light of social liberation.

Why modern totalitarianism can only die by the spears of slaves ...

The shutdown of Dublin bus services begins prematurely at 21.00 tonight thanks to
management's refusal to trust the workers to wind down the service ahead of tomorrows two
day strike, the first of three scheduled. As our name suggests Solidarity Times stands in
solidarity with the bus workers, just as we were in solidarity with the LUAS strikes. ----
In both strikes a media looking for angles to attack the workers on choose the relative
size of the pay claims they were making. 21% sounds big but the period covered, 2008 to
2019, is actually 11 years. But workers in Dublin need big pay increases and contrary to
what RTE might tell you this isn't a bad thing for most of us, quite the opposite. ----
Dublin has often been a city with extreme divisions between poverty and wealth. The
tenements of the Strumpet City of the 1910s were one side of the city, the other was the
thousands of families living in mansions with 3 or more servants. The 1913 lockout was
centered on transport workers, in that case the trams.

Today in Dublin 1 in 40, or 5% of families have over one million euro in assets excluding
the home they live in. But the rocketing cost of rent and mortgages means most workers
can't afford a home in the city where they work. There are only two solutions to that, a
drastic reduction in the cost of housing or a drastic increase in the share of wealth
going to ordinary workers. That requires a drastic increase in wages. Our expectation
should be that by our 20s we should be able to obtain a secure home with enough space for
us to comfortably live in, a situation that is currently out of reach for 80% of people in
this city.

Declining union membership has meant that most workers now have little control over what
they are paid. Our pay is set by our boss and we can like or lump that. The minimum wage
is a joke, no one believes that its possible to have a reasonable life on such a low wage.
So for most of us it's a race to the bottom in which there are only two things holding
back a complete wage collapse.

The first is that a very few workers have skills that are still rare, this is particularly
true of some computer workers. Incidentally this is why the government is so keen to pump
up the number of graduates in that sector, not because there is infinite work but because
they want a surplus of workers in that sector so wages can be driven down.
The second brake is that some workers are still organised and although unions are the
weakest they have been in decades this means they can still organise to resist pay cuts
and more importantly demand pay rises. We don't want to overstate that, the strongest
organised sector is the public sector and workers there took a hammering, suffering
enormous pay cuts and what is now heading for a 8 year pay freeze. The reasons for that
deserve an article in itself but partly it was down to the massive demoralisation
following the media led attacks on those workers back in 2009 and the subsequent collapse
in resistance after the one day strike.

So why have transport workers been at the tip of the spear when it comes to fighting for
the sort of wage increases we all need? One reason perhaps is that the unsocial hours they
work - which mean they have to be at depots before public transport is running - mean they
have to live in the city. But the wages they earn are too low for them to be able to
afford decent accommodation within a reasonable distance of many depots.

More importantly though they have power. When tra

The outcome of the coup among the powerful that ousted President Dilma Rousseff, marking
the possible end of the cycle called "neo-developmentalist", led in recent decades by
PT[Worker's Party]. The crisis and political instability on the top floor, next to the
power struggles and the interests of national and international capital governments have
created a very opportune time for a political, legal and media coup on the PT by the
Brazilian elite, faithful doormat of the international market interests. ---- In all this,
our anarchist opinion wants to demarcate position without any illusion in state
conspiracies, opinion which seeks to be from our popular base to give combat to the
violent suppression of rights and the brutal adjustment that is being applied.

* Artigo completo em português

1- The outcome of the coup among the powerful that ousted President Dilma Rousseff,
marking the possible end of the cycle called "neo-developmentalist", led in recent decades
by PT[Worker's Party]. The crisis and political instability on the top floor, next to the
power struggles and the interests of national and international capital governments have
created a very opportune time for a political, legal and media coup on the PT by the
Brazilian elite, faithful doormat of the international market interests.
The factors that are inter-related in this process, and those we can mention as very
important:

The media campaigns againts PT,
The big deals between political parties,
The manipulation of the juridical process (personalized in the figure of Moro, transformed
by the elite in "anti-coruption hero"),
The rise of a strong anti-PT sentiment, inflated not only by the right but also by those
that was disappointed with the PT government's lack of progress on social rights, as also
the attacks and suppression of other rights.
The lurches to the right of PT, as well as the able leadership of the PMDB fox, Eduardo
Cunha, were also determining factors in this outcome.
So is this that we arrived to this mega political-legal farce called impeachment. We know
that this kind of revanchist stance in Brazilian politics is nothing new because the
historical constitution of the country have gone through different coups of different
shades and shapes to name them.

2 - The PT searched the governability operating a policy of alliances that attracted and
divided oligarchic sectors of the right. So, it was pushed to the mass grave of lobbying,
bribes, slush, among many public funds deviations and private business favoritism schemes.
In society, pitched a social pact policy that made arrive governance mechanisms on both
ends of the class structure. Made growth policy in the gains of financial system and of
the bigs capitals and, next to it, met with social programs the poor who are abbandoned by
public policy. But left intact the structures of concentration of wealth and power, and
has for much of the budgets for payment of public debt. That is, the so-called "progress"
had a high price for the country, where the belly of the powerful became more full.
We remember that the adjustement (that we call coup on the rights) began to be implemented
within the PT government. It was strongly defended by the president Dilma on his defense
in the Senate and by the ex-president Lula. In a speech held on October 29, 2015, Lula
said that the party's priority was to "create political conditions to allow the
approvation of measures of fiscal adjustment forwarded by Dilma Rousseff." And when the
model of the social pact is immured by the recession and the high cost of living, is on
the cut of public policy that the government uses as unic exit, with the excuse of
improving the economy.
The adjustement on nacional budget led to the brutal dismantling of education, which was
answered by the occupation of schools in numerous regions of the country in a very massive
struggle led by the students, marked by autonomy and direct action.
Public health its on panic with epidemics transmitted by the mosquito which breeds in poor
areas that lacks on basic sanitation. But the banks do not stop to celebrate their
winnings, in the collection of the public debt.
No respect for the environment, and the agrobusiness and mining companies imposed or
imposes their deadly model to indigenous peoples, quilombolas, riparian and other poor
people in the field.
The Dilma government was the lowest administration on the demarcation of indigenous land
and on settlement of landless peasants, chosing to be aside of the large landowners and
opening the country to pesticides (on Brazil a person consumes in one year 7,3 L of
pesticides per year) and giving large amount of money to the projects of hydropowers like
Belo Monte, and allowing the indiscriminate killing of indigenous in the lands of the
Guarani-Kaiowà population.
On the slums, Dilma reforced and approved in alliance with the PMDB, the occupation and
killings by police and the army, increasing the genocide of the black people
On what concern issues of gender and sexual diversity, it will remain a common agenda of
conservatism, with the veto on the distribution of the "kit anti-homophobia" on schools
and criminalizing abortion.
Only before his departure from the government, Dilma decided to symbolically invite some
social movements to some government defense ceremonies in the government palace, trying to
keep a dialogue around the defense of "democracy" with those movements. But truth must be
told, the PT government never ruled with any movement.
At the extreme pressure that has received from imperialists capitals, the government of
the PT opened auction of exploration fields, yielding increasingly to the easing advancing
the privatization of public oil reserves of the pre-salt layer. Finally, the financial
system managed to impose, with the final approval of the Presidency, this Anti-Terrorism
Act that launch a precedent on the social protest, which escapes from his control, a
massive attack of criminal-repressive legislation.
Therefore, the calculation is to be government at any cost, just following the natural
logic of bourgeois democracy. An example is that in municipalities where the PT maintains
coalition with the PMDB there is no embarrassment.

3 -Moved from the state apparatus, the PT leaders bring to the movements the illusion that
the coup operated by reactionary sectors have no relation with the misshapen practices
that PT committed. So they prepare the 2018 elections and a new social pact with the
bourgeoisie (now in opposition) that pretend to use the movements and trade unions, again
as a ladder to a flawed political design.

4- In all this, our anarchist opinion wants to demarcate position without any illusion in
state conspiracies, opinion which seeks to be from our popular base to give combat to the
violent suppression of rights and the brutal adjustment that is being applied.
It is time to reaffirm the class independence of the workers against the economic
adjustment; it is time to oppose the corrupt system of representation of bourgeois
politics, with direct democracy and grassroots people's organizations; it's time to
generalize the struggle in the streets, strikes and occupations outside the bureaucratic
controls and electoral calculations.
dentro do Estado.
Our militant position puts power in the grassroot work in forging organizational spaces of
solidarity and direct action, with autonomy, with libertarian federalism of struggles and
articulations, rebuilding class independent perspective inside the movements, communities
and trade unions. It is true that the path to these tasks is long, but it is also true
that socialism and freedom that we defend not come, nor ever will come from the state.

Againts the coup on the rights!
Fight and win outside the urns!
OUR REBELLION DOESN'T
ACCEPT ADJUSTMENT!

Againts the electoral farse and the suppression of rights!
Only the popular struggle decide!
