This is an outstanding, excellent, top paper that presented a concise theory on how aquatic ecosystems maintain water quality (theory of water self-purification in freshwater and marine ecosystems).
In 2014, Diploma was awarded to this publication and the other papers of the series of publications on water ecology and environmental science.  http://5bio5.blogspot.com/2014/07/award-to-series-of-publications-on.html
