Look, there is only one response when verbatim text comparisons show clear plagiarism: you admit it, fire somebody, and move on. But admitting error and apologizing aren't in the DNA of the Trump campaign, and so they respond in a way that is EXTENDING the controversy. They can't even get together on their excuses.
