June 19th AMS Denali Update
All is well in the Alaska Range with AMS teams. Everyone is staying put today and hoping the storm breaks tonight or early tomorrow morning. At 17,200 feet or high camp the winds have calmed to 50mph. This photo displays a couple techniques to keeping tents in place: high snow walls and ropes to secure the tops of the tents. Everyone is staying warm, hydrated, and patiently waiting.
