Butterfly Sleeve Blouse

Hi, there! This season I love to wear clothes with kimono and butterfly sleeves. I decided to draw this blouse pattern with flutter sleeves. This pattern is completely self-drafted. It's very easy and quick to make. Please try to make it!

It only took an hour to draw the pattern and a few hours to make. Moreover, I used only 1 3/8 yards of fabric! This blouse is an oversized design and very forgiving. I am 5' 4" and usually wear a size small. If you increase a few inches to the hemline, you can make it with 1 5/8 yards of fabric.
It's a pullover blouse and can be worn without the bows. I used the bias tape around the neckline.
This is the instructions. Click on the image for a larger version.

I made this blouse as a trial but it turned out fantastic! I used a cheap linen/cotton blend, it tends to wrinkle. However, I like the fact that it is very cute and trendy. I especially love the slit sleeves. It needs a camisole underneath but it's very airy and comfortable to wear.
If you try to make it, I recommend that you use a SOFT fabric because soft fabric gives the lower edge a beautiful silhouette.
I decided to make another one so I made it with a red flowers pattern fabric.

This is my new version. It was made from a Switzerland satin silk. I bought the fabric from the local store. When I first got it, it was shinier than I thought, but I love this blouse because it doesn't wrinkle.

I absolutely love it. I might make another one. Maybe I will change the design a little bit.
