These children are getting exposed to nicotine and toxic pesticides while tending tobacco that goes into products. Child tobacco workers can absorb nicotine through their skin, and many suffer nausea, vomiting, headaches, and dizziness – all symptoms of acute nicotine poisoning. Some tobacco companies have policies against the use of child labor, but none do enough to root out the problem and protect children from the dangers associated with tobacco farming.  Read more » share on:
