In a time where the world is suffering with so many social, political and environmental issues, all forms of Art have a fundamental importance to balance the world, to give peace in stressful situations, to give love when there is hate. That's why our next concert is dedicate to the propagation of Peace & Love *with free hugs* to create a wave of good vibrations to calm down the world..
Come to make this wave even more strong! Together we can! :-D
Based in Brussels, Blue Bossa Liberté is composed by two Brazilians, two Belgians and one Mexican - Cecilia Peçanha (voice, guitar, flute), Gabriel Caporali (bass), Jeremy Frisch (piano), Falk Schrauwen (percussion) and Osvaldo Hernandez (percussion).
Their repertory focuses on original compositions inspired by Bossa Nova Jazz harmonies and Afro-Brazilian rhythms interspersed with new arrangements of some of the Brazilian pearls by composers such as Tom Jobim, Hermeto Pascoal, among others.
The originality of this project lie in the new compositions, in the mix between jazz, afro and brazilian styles and in the variery of instruments (guitar, flute, recorder, electric bass, piano, African and Brazilian percussions).
The quintet is playing concerts in Belgium regularly and last year they have released their first original album - Muambaroots. In the moment they are working on the second album!
