Revolts, protests and mass escapes from the new 'registration' centres where 5000 people are being detained in dire conditions prior to deportation. All organisations and NGOs from the UNHCR to MSF have refused to collaborate with these illegal detention centres and have stopped activity. There are reports from Lesvos of people arriving also children being threatened by police with guns pointed at them to force them go in detention. Refugees who broke out of prison in Vial today are being offered to stay in the open camp Souda. 500 left Chios detention camp through cutting the fence, see article below




the plan to deport migrants monday 4 april tuesday 5.4. and wendsday
6.4. from the Mitilini port to Dikeli is anounced as information from
the news agency AMPE.
Frontex has chartered two turkisch boats that will transport 100
migrants each time.
one migrant will be acompanied by one police oficer.
the boat Nazli Zale from the shiping company Zalem tour will transport
200 people on one time (100 migrants 100 policeman)
the bota Lesvos from Turyol company will transport once a day 100 people
(50 migrants 50 Frontex police)
During this three days 750 are suposed to get deported to turkey
acording to the eu-turkey agreement..
The travelers will be ofered watre sandwitches and juices.

the first boat will depart monday at 10 o clock from the port where the
migrnats will be brought by bus.
For thsi reason in the next hours many Frontex oficers are expected in
Mitilini from sunday on many hitel roms are booked for the frontex
oficers in mitilini but also outside.
