Tell Governor Vajubhai Vala: Clean Up Bangalore's Toxic Lakes

Dear friends, Bangalore's Ulsoor Lake is a sad and ugly sight. For two years, toxic sewage has been leaking into the water, and now the lake is filled with the bodies of thousands of dead fish. Please sign this petition to demand that local authorities take action to clean up Ulsoor Lake and other Bangalore lakes. With the right intervention, they could once again be beautiful and full of life. Bangalore is the stunning and prosperous capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka. Its toxic lakes are a safety hazard and an ecological tragedy, and reflect badly on the city. Clean water should be a priority for all communities, and the people of Bangalore deserve better.
