New York Times: Hillary Clinton Says She Is the Only Candidate With a Plan to Defeat the Islamic State
EVERETT, Wash. — Hillary Clinton portrayed herself on Tuesday as the only presidential candidate who has presented a detailed plan to defeat the Islamic State, which took responsibility for the terrorist attacks in Brussels earlier in the day.
“I’ve laid out a very specific agenda for defeating ISIS, not just on the battlefield,” Mrs. Clinton said at an event with union members here. She went on to explain her plan to use Kurdish and Arab forces and American airstrikes to weaken the group in Syria and Iraq, stem the flow of foreign funds used to arm the group, and increase efforts to stop recruitment online.
“We’ve got to defeat them online,” Mrs. Clinton said. “That is where they radicalize and that’s where they propagandize.”

Muslim communities are “absolutely not reporting” suspected terrorists and need to “open up to society”, Donald Trump has said in his first UK interview since launching his bid for the US presidency.
Appearing on ITV’s Good Morning Britain (GMB), Trump said there was “very little assimilation” in cities where there had been a “large inflow” of Muslims, and denied that some British citizens were scared of the idea of him in the White House.

The Democratic presidential candidate appeared on Tuesday's episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'
Prior to winning the Democratic caucuses in Utah and Idaho, Sen. Bernie Sanders visited “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Tuesday to chat about the presidential election.
However, in light of the terrorist attacks in Brussels earlier in the day, host Jimmy Kimmel could not avoid addressing the sobering international events with his guest. He mentioned how “in times when we are under attack or our allies are under attack, it seems that Americans gravitate toward the candidate who talks the toughest.” Kimmel then referenced how Donald Trump‘s popularity increased following the Paris terrorist strikes in November, so he asked Sanders why he thinks that happens.
