New Look 6007 Leather Wool Draped Cape

The weather changes very often in early spring. In such weather, this light coat is a very good thing to wear. I made a new cape: new Look 6007.

I made view C. I love sewing coats, however I need lighter clothes. This was the last that I sewed a wool coat this winter.

I combined grey wool and faux leather. This wool and faux leather were very soft and easy to sew. I think my fabric choice was good because the coat has a lovely drape!
I changed the only belt design. My belt is longer than the conventional belt. Because I already have a similar jacket, but the belt of the jacket gets loose and often slips off from the belt-holes when I take it off. This annoys me every time! This time, I made the belt longer, so it doesn't happen as such.
I cut off the length by two inches, because that's easier use my hands than normal length. I raised location of the belt-holes by two inches.

This coat's biggest drawback is that I can't carry a shoulder bag. I don't think I will sew it again because I only need one of these coats in my closet. But I love this pattern. If I try the pattern, I would make another options.

This was a very simple pattern to make, very easy and quick to sew it. This pattern doesn't have button-holes, lining and pockets. I recommend for beginners.
