Since the announcement of the El Khomri law, part of the company is to rise up to say stop
to this latest ultra-liberal measure. Beyond trade unions, general assemblies flourished
affecting both certain professional sectors already hit hard by the deterioration of
working conditions, but also youth, and more broadly all those who wish to March 9, a
starting point for a broader protest movement of a system ready to do anything to serve
the interests of the richest. ---- The purpose of government, in the image of all the
latest reforms (ANI in 2013 Fir laws, Macron and Rebsamen) and published reports
(Combrexelle reports Mettling, Badinter) is to destroy all the social gains to give all
power to the bosses. ---- Given the current mobilization, the state will have us believe
like every time that negotiations are possible, that the worst can be avoided by removing
the most contested measures eventually pass most of programme.A through the text as in
previous employment laws have the same objectives: to blow the legal limits of maximum
working hours, yet facilitate dismissals, always pay less wage earners, long since reduced
to a simple variable of the capitalist system adjustment, to undo the already weak
defenses of wage earners. This breaks the Labour Code couples with the open support of the
government to the employers during negotiations on the new agreement Unédic which just
started, to further reduce a little the duration and amount of insurance compensation
unemployment.
The reality for millions of people, is that our living conditions more precarious whatever
governments. The left / right political lines are only seeking to make us believe that
there is no other choice. Alongside social regression, governments always equip themselves
with security tools more draconian, to silence and criminalize any challenge: the law on
surveillance of the summer 2015, the entrenchment of the state of emergency and the new
reform law criminal being passed in part, and must be combated in this direction!
Change, there will be no meaningful as we will not be persuaded es that we can change
things at different levels.
Faced with these attacks, a large proportion of wage earners, insecure, unemployed,
Artists, unionists react. A petition against the bill has already collected more than 1
000000 signatures and this number is constantly increasing. To truly back the government,
this protest movement must assert itself on the workplace (in the private and the public),
education (schools, universities, etc.), and on the street. We call for building a strong
and determined mobilization to show that we're ready to fight for our lives and work, we
will no longer accept social regression that stack in favor of the richest! We must have
the slogan withdrawal of this law to not let the union bureaucracies opportunity to
negotiate social regression.
So join all initiatives to strike and struggle that are organized and are working for the
convergence of forces until the withdrawal of the bill!
Must participate in the day of March 9, the General Meetings for converging struggles
already underway, learn about what is happening in the various industries in the sectors
of society which employees or not, visions to share what they / they live.
Beyond the rejection of this reform, we can also question the value of work and its
distribution, the capitalist economic system and its ongoing threats of collapse, the role
of the state is not a neutral instrument but always on the side of possessing es, question
the closure of borders: why let dying people who have nothing away from here believing
that financially, hospitality is impossible? question our freedoms reduced with each new
security law in the name of the fight against terrorism or crime to control and quell
possible challenges more easily. How to find collective spaces of construction and
implementation of a model of society livable and emancipator, based on the economic and
social equality and not on the exploitation of the majority in favor of a minority?

In a few months will mark a year since the last municipal elections, which represented a
great advance for confluences left. One of the areas that these formations were presented
during the electoral campaign was the remunicipalització utilities. An element that
included the demands of many social movements throughout the country, while it was one of
the most consistent with the logic that guided these municipal candidates. ---- However,
in the months following the elections, the issue of remunicipalitzacions has practically
disappeared from the debate, being dragged into that dark area where they believe
political bureaucracy, laws and economic interests. Advances which there is much valuable
hagut- have been the result of strong focus, but we can still glimpse the wave on the
horizon promise remunicipalitzacions able to change the correlation of forces.
When we remunicipalització, we refer to an event of major political significance: the
recovery of ownership and / or management control of public services by councils. Since
the beginning of this century, the remunicipalització has become an increasingly strong
trend throughout the world, especially in key sectors such as water, transport and energy.
In Spain, despite some successful experiences, by May 2015 this trend was manifested in
one way rather weak, due to strong political and economic resistance.
The confluence municipal leftist found this hostile environment, which has forced many to
abandon or drastically reduce remunicipalitzacions their goals. Basically, in Spain there
are only two legal ways to remunicipalitzar service not renew the contract or terminate
it. Both alternatives have serious difficulties and risks to councils; situation worsened
also by some reforms approved by the Popular Party in recent years. Therefore, the
difficulties that found the new municipal governments are the expression of a political
and legal environment designed to discourage any move that recovery privatized. It is a
common strategy in politics capitalist hegemony take time to establish rules requiring
future emerging forces to continue playing the same game. And worse, generally also
requires transformative movements to close in order to dismantle the institutional
framework, thus abandoning its innate vocation to overcome it.
The issue of public services is not a secondary aspect, but it represents a key cog in the
struggle against neoliberalism. Privatization and outsourcing of public services destroyed
one of the cornerstones of the social compact that had sustained the Western welfare state
since the Second World War. An agreement based on wage moderation of the major unions in
exchange for policies aimed at ensuring full employment and a series of social rights
through so-called universal public services. The commercialization of these rights has
broken the balance that had sustained capitalist society in recent decades, submerging
large masses of population in precarious and debts. Some of the main advances conquered by
social movements in recent years, especially in Latin America, are closely related to the
struggle for decommodification of these services and their recovery as universal rights
for all people.
It is for these reasons that since Embat remunicipalització consider public services as a
strategic and fundamental fight face to build a different society and economy . But we
believe that it is not enough simply to restore municipal management of these services, it
is necessary to go further and reconfigure the management mechanisms of the public. The
land is paid to open to experimentation and cause a radical democratization of these
sectors, with the participation of employees, users and the community in general.
Moreover, it makes sense not to replicate the mechanisms characteristic of individualistic
liberalism, which implies the need to recover the logical group popular in the world. The
isolated citizen-elector can never assume the task of collectively managing the economy.
It is people, through their social organizations, which must establish itself as
counterweight against the institutions.
Lately, it has often spoken of an alleged "glass ceiling" that prevents the demands of the
movement could be transformed into reality without the existence of a favorable
interlocutor from the institutional sphere. But, considering the difficulties encountered
by municipal governments regarding the remunicipalitzacions is fair to say that in the
case of institutions there is a "concrete ceiling" extremely difficult drilling. An
economic and legal framework designed to override any potential transformation escaping
limits. By contrast, social mobilization is not tied to these limitations. Its nature is
to disobey the rules and force to create a new game.
Overcoming these mechanisms can only be achieved through a Popular Movement organized to
continue raising their flags, always aware that their claims will generate conflict
regardless of who governs. It is necessary to take the conflict as a natural element of
the movement caused by the inevitable confrontation occurs between the institutions under
capitalism and the world popular. In short, to advance remunicipalització of public
services is necessary to resume the attack from below. Without this public pressure new
and even municipal governments will be powerless to break down barriers and develop
imposed far-reaching transformations.
In the 70s, it was said often that was different between left conquer the Government to
power. Today, that states are stripped of their sovereignty, this power is getting away
from governments, both central and local. Therefore, the role of the Movement today is
even more crucial for channeling social transformations. Winning elections can create an
environment conducive to certain claims, but in no way can replace social mobilization.
The People Power is not in councils or parliaments, but in the streets, workplaces,
neighborhoods, and, in short, in all areas of daily life where the organization possible.
The Office of the People always tensarà relations with the institutions that are closest
to the managers of these instances. Disown this conflict is counter to fear the death of
the Social Movement, which does not do any favors neither the masses nor the city councils
change.

Abderrahman was hired in January 2012 in an interim mail transport company. In March, the
contract becomes a CSD. Then, in September, he was hired on permanent contracts. As of May
2014, an employee of a client company Abderrahman insult to each "pick" daily because of
his origins, sometimes up to the threat of death. ---- Abderrahman notify this situation
to his employer. Initially the employer the employee withdraws from the tour at the client
and contacts the client. This minimizes the facts speak of bickering between employees ...
and not take any action against the racist employee. In September the employer gives
Abderrahman on the tour. He refuses to do the tour with this client and the employer
dismisses him for serious misconduct.
In the letter of dismissal, the employer Abderrahman wrote that the Director of the client
company " confirmed to us that you had received to take note of your statement and
reassure you by guaranteeing that the employee was harmless " . Insults and threats
against the employees are not denied. The employer merely encourage the employee " don'ts
case Inappropriate, but above all unintelligent ." What can not consider Abderrahman and
what led him to refuse to go to that client, gear that will end with his dismissal for
serious misconduct.
At the hearing the Labour Court, his counsel relied on the law of 27 May 2008 which allows
qualifying bullying an isolated act when it can be connected to a prohibited
discrimination, including racial discrimination. Moreover, it found that the employer
asked Abderrahman resume operations without measures are taken to ensure his safety, had
breached its income security obligations to the employee.
The tribunals were initially reported in a tie (both employees against both bosses) and a
départiteur judge has ruled. Finally, if you will ... He actually split the two. Although
the letter of dismissal demonstrates that neither party disputes the insults and threats,
the judge wrote that " the fact that [the company] has removed [the employee] of the tour
does not establish the facts alleged harassment, if not the existence of a problem that
can be purely relational . "
Conversely, the judge does not qualify the gross negligence of dereliction. Also dismissal
is it reclassified as dismissal for just cause and the employer is ordered to pay the
employee a severance pay, termination pay and the period for making foot conservatory, a
total of 6200 euros . The employee did not wish to appeal this decision unsatisfactory.

True to their word, French forces are proceeding with their planned assault on the
refugees of Calais, destroying the homes and shelters, beginning the re-displacement of
thousands. The goal, as stated by Fabienne Buccio, head of Police management: to reduce
migrant numbers to a “manageable” population of 2000. “There is a largely unseen, or
little reported battle of Calais” she said, “which the French government is beginning to
win. We must remain humble. The problems are very great. But yes, I think we are starting
to make real progress”. ---- This most one-sided battle - a fight between the force and
brutality of the French state and a largely helpless population refugees and activists,
took form four days ago as 55 CRS vans pulled up at the camp and unloaded hundreds of riot
police. Forming a human shield, preventing residents of the camp from accessing their few
possessions the police then began firing rounds of tear gas into the crowd, driving back
parents, children and activists as they ensued with destruction of homes. Over the last
three days deconstruction has continued, with police driving out around 300 residents thus
far, mainly Iranians and Sudanese. While activists are being blockaded by force from
protesting the assault, some residents have attempted peaceful protest. One example which
acutely revealed the lie behind what was to be a ‘humane operation’ was the footage of a
pregnant woman who, peacefully sitting on the roof of her home was apprehended, assaulted
and arrested by police.
As footage of children in shock after being teargassed continues to come out, and of the
fires started by teargas canisters, the mood of the camp descends into one of despair and
helplessness. The refugees, victims of complex geopolitical forces to which states like
France owe a great deal of responsibility, are being dealt with in the way in which states
deal with most problems. Use force and law to deconstruct the homes and the people, quell
or destroy resistance to injustice and continue to serve power.
This evening at 6.00pm there will be a demonstration at the French embassy in Dublin. Come
and show your solidarity with the residents of Calais.

dismissal as leverage.
Meanwhile, reform after reform, governments provide to employers for 40 years
Liberal legislative frameworks for ever degrade our working conditions. El bill
