Open Position for NT3 Board Certified Teacher Advisor

As a partnership between the Alabama State Department of Education, the Alabama Education Association, and the Alabama National Board Certified Teachers Network, Alabama's Network to Transform Teaching (NT3) is fully funded by a US Department of Education Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) grant.  The goal of NT3 is to increase the number of National Board Certified Teachers in Alabama and innovate and improve teacher leadership opportunities for existing NBCTs.

Board-certified teachers bring critical frontline expertise to the Network to Transform Teaching (NT3) improvement team. They have experience with the system and can identify the needs and wishes of teachers from their own perspective. Each team must have at least one teacher advisor who is currently in the classroom and is an NBCT on their team. He/she must be committed to staying in the classroom for the duration of the grant (September 2018). This person will be on the travel team and is required to attend the remaining Learning Sessions (October 24-26, 2016, February 27-March 1, 2017, October 23-25, 2017, and February 26-28, 2018). Travel expenses will be covered by NBPTS.
