He ain't heavy he's my brother

George W Bush is about to campaign for his brother Jeb.  What is it about people that gives them such a short memory?

When W was leaving office, we could not be free of him soon enough.  Apparently no one remembers that mess that was the Bush administration.  Now they want to reconstruct him into something he was not.   The reason why we got the likes of Barrack Obama was due to the abysmal Bush administration.  George W  was as we all knew the not to bright scion of the fantastically wealthy Bush elitist family.Money

I remember the money end of his administration, for the housing bubble burst on his watch and the national economy headed for the drain.  Barrack Obama came into office with the prospect of a collapsing economy and undertook to increase deficit spending  to keep things afloat. Deficit spending was not an Obama invention, it was merely refined . Bush had a lot to do with it beforehand.

I also never forgot the  "You're doing a heck of a job there Brownie"  as we watched New Orleans float away in Hurricane Katrina.

I for one believe that the extent of the family wealth is never going to be known.  I personally believe it is well understated.. What is almost lost in the mix however, is the strong Yale and even stonger secret society connection that exist.  How does a secret society gain traction in a country with such talk of meritocracy and hard work and shoulder to the wheel ethic.  Amazing.  Is the game rigged as Bernie Sanders would have us believe.

So have at it Jeb, cause somewhere in that mix someone other than Donald Trump will call you on it.History

There is a lot of hiss and boo when Trump lays out the fact.  that the World Trade Center was attacked during a Bush administration.  Trump does stop short of blaming it on Bush, but he makes the factual point.  What is however beyond question is the war in Iraq was a collosal blunder of intelligence and of foreign policy. 

As much as we Americans wish to wrap ourselves in our love of democracy and democratic principals, we need to understand that culturally the Middle East is much different than we.  We do not cut the hands off of our thieves, we do not stone our blasphemers , not do we prevent women from working outside the home, getting education, being independent.  My tepid description of the real Middle East is mild in comparison to the reality which is one where bands of roving thugs routinely move about in Middle Eastern cities and villages beating , raping and stabbing those with whom they differ. 


Middle eastern strongmen who become national leaders in the Middle East understand that culture and they understand that to keep it under control they must be at least as wickedly strong or they will not be able to keep order.  Stupidly people like Bush thought that they could immediately wave a wand of democracy over the sands and everything would be wonderful .  How sad that we had leaders with not true understanding of the human nature of the Middle East.

So now they want us to elect another of them, in the form of Jeb.  I say not again.

Bush created a power vacuum in the region and as we all know a vacuum can not remain unfilled.
So we now are seeing the filling of it by the likes of Islamic Statist.  And because they are infinitely worse than any Hussein of Ghadafi the people of the region flee and included in those who are fleeing are many of the same who would previously roam the cities raping, stoning, stabbing those they disagree with.

There is no getting the genie back in the bottle, and certainly not with another Bush, and more certainly with another Clinton.  Dynastic politics has no role in America.
