My new novel CARRY will be out in US (Pantheon) and Canada (House of Anansi) in February 2016. It's an unusual love story set in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s, when everything's going to hell. Also set on El
Llano Estacado, in West Texas and New Mexico. Like my first 2 novels, aspects of story and setting were inspired by family history. Images and settings in the photographs below were important to the writing. But, like my other books, KARIN is definitely a
novel.
